Ok so anyone here who owns a 360 has had it re-engineered to allow it to be cooler? Zero is calling 150 to mod it....i just want to know if it works.

The RRoD is the only thing stopping me from going 360

Trouble in this place tonight........BAN....KAI

Thats why its meant to be left alone...just make sure there is sufficient air around the unit. Better yet if you are playing while in A/C..

Even though I knew that I "knew" everything at that article CNN wrote.
I still gave it a read. And it was as unbiased and real as it can get.

A well written article detailing the PS3's plusses and minuses.
Give it a read Cross, it should add to your decision.

unbiased and real??
lol yur such a fan boy its even making you blind.

"consequently is the best performing and affordable Blu-ray player on the market--a great option if you want to introduce yourself to high-def content."

WRONG!!!!

"Yes, the Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii also have their own handful of exclusive titles "

BIASED!!!!!!!!!!!

when you grow up and learn that CNN is actually NOT unbiased, then you begin to see the tainted fruit in all they do

I'm not gonna comment on that review but I have to state that the PS3 has among many different reviewers been shown to be either the best or one of the best bluray players around.

I'm not gonna comment on that review but I have to state that the PS3 has among many different reviewers been shown to be either the best or one of the best bluray players around.

I am not going to disagree with you there, as I LOVE BluRay on my PS3 and HDTV, but this thread was started by Cross to help choose the right console for him.

Your arbitrary comment about it being one of the best BluRay players around helps him decide in what way? Is he looking for a BluRay player or a gaming console?

Keep the comments to the selling points of each console to help the man decide instead of throwing around FanBoy comments...it is not helping him choose the PS3 any faster...

How many people in here buy BluRay movies? Are there many BluRay movies for Rental in Trinidad? What purpose will BluRay serve Cross besides High Definition Movies assuming he has an HDTV to enjoy it...SELL HIM ON IT MAN!! Don't just throw out misc. comments about it being one of the best BluRay players....Geez...

Remember it was a PS3 review not anothers consoles...

The reviewer did a good job at mentioning the strengths of the other consoles
So that you would do further reading on them... I did not intend "fanboyism" in my post :(

@ redlum... Crixx disagreed bout ps3 being the best bluray player out there..
Eroo simply commented on that..
What's the problem???
You're a fanboy because of that?

@ cross, we simply point out the bluray HD capabilities of playstation 3..
It's an added bonus of going playstation.

We're not being fanboys, we know ps3 and are advising..
You guys should stop attacking because it seems you are the pissed off fanboys... /end

Attacking? All I said was that Eroo should be more convincing and try to make more relavent points to help Cross make a decision...

Pissed off fanboys? Who me? I have the best of all Console Worlds...why would I be pissed off? I am happy with each of my consoles for each of its purpose, your behaviour says otherwise, I think you need to look in the mirror, there will be a fanboy of Sony staring back at you...

I was REPLYING to the comment that the PS3 was not the best performing and affordable bluray player on the market. I'm not allowed to reply now if I see a post that I believe is incorrect.

Are you PS3 fanboys so busy admiring the beauty of the PS3 to read and understand....I said "SELL HIM ON IT MAN!! Don't just throw out misc. comments about it being one of the best BluRay players"

The point of this thread was to make your points and back them up with facts for Cross to make a decision....

Your post quoted does NOTHING to SELL HIM ON IT. Whats that you say it was a reply... but according to your logic it shouldn't be allowed.

Fellas, fellas...I don't like where this thread is heading.

Lets not turn this into a console fanboy bash/rant.  Lord knows we've had enough of those.

* steers thread away from precipice *

Cross my boy, your decision is simple: just consider what types of games you like to play, and compare and contrast the game
libraries of all the consoles.  Of course the bells and whistles should help drive your decision, but not dictate it.
If you could eventually buy both, well thats a small slice of heaven right there, but for now, look at game library and online play.
