video capturing program

hey guys
is there a program (let me stress non-virus program) i can download to record vids on my pc
for example...if i'm playing a game like street fighter on an emulator and i want to capture it...but...i don't have a tv card...are there any safe programs i can use

fraps, best utility ever...

just one thing, if the game uses allot of resources, specifically if it has to load allot or you using page file (for whatever reason) it WILL slow down...try to capture to another drive if possible. also the files will be big depending on the rez you choose

fraps doesnt well with emulators, try camtasia or hypercam.
