I repeat there is no greater adrenaline rush than running thru a vietnam jungle at night just after exiting a VC tunnel .You creep out into the moonlight and suddenly you hear the familiar sound of an Ak47.You have nothing but a colt 45 a knife a radio and a flashlight you have no choice but to run for cover because you surfaced in one of charlie's strongholds.
You recieve a transmission stating that the LZ is roughly 3 miles west of your current position thru the jungle and on the otherside of a lake.All you can hear are bullets ripping thru the foilage as you scramble thru the underbrush.Then it dawns on you charlie is everywhere.
You leap over a log and return fire at your pursuers but its no use your almost surrounded and all you can do is retreat .You feel your strength waning as you catch an AK round in the leg.You think to yourself "god I dont want to die in this sh!thole"as you struggle to swim across the lake.Then you see it.
A Montagnard temple the LZ and the location of your last stand.In a blind fury you leap out at the VC guards having a chat and fillette them with your field knife.You breathe a sigh of relief as you procure a Degtarev with 70 rounds to spare.But it aint over yet every VC within a two mile radius is headed your way.
You pop smoke and wait for the bird to come get you.Suddenly 6 VC come crashing thru the bush in front of you followed by 10 more from the right.With no time to panic you open fire from behind a statue mowing down the 6 in the front.One of the VC from the ten squad decides to charge,you oblitherate him in a hail of bullets also taking out 5 of his buddies with him.
Whats this? he has grenades ? GOD MUST LOVE THIS SOLDIER!!.With maniacal grin you chuck every nade you found at the remaining forces spattering the temple with blood and limbs.At last the chopper arrives the sound its rotors defeaning yet peaceful.You think of your parents back home and smile as you pass out on a chopper bound for Nhui Pek.

Ok Ok I was never in NAM ok .But Vietcong gives me flashbacks of a war I never fought in. This game rulez nuff adrenaline packed moments iymc. Btw that was actually a description of a mission called "Po Tlong Karai - Evade And Escape"

Nothing like the feeling of being, cold, wet, dirty, on your belly in the mud crawling past dead and dying, the smell of cordite and blood in your nostrils as you see your comrades slaughtered in the dust, the only thig keeping you alive is your will to say 'I'm not gonna die begging on my goddern knees in this hellhole!" and either a SMG or AK...and you're almost outta ammo too...
