The athlon FX and Athlon64 have devastated the P4 extreme edition in almost all the benchmarks, with the athlon 64 at 400 US and overclockable to FX speeds [ with a HUUGe fan ] AMD will soon ownzor the high end CPU sector.

I have seen many where the P4 EE bested the FX much to my chagrin.

I would like nothing better than to see AMD mopping the floor with Intel silicon.

either one of them has been payed to lie.. or its the athlon 64 not the athlon FX at toms

The P4 EE has to OC to 3.6 ghz just to match and sometimes beat the athlon on this site

400 USD for an athlon 64 with 1mb L2 cache , 120 at least for a mobo . This is investing in the future , one day we will need windows 64 bit to play the newer games
