why do people snipe in 99% of all games in euro cafe an gatt

now.... as a player of most first person shooters.....ive been watching the majority of the gatt members who regurarly come to euro cafe and gatt hq to play first person shooters...now im not going to insult there skill level in games but seriously...what motivates a person in a game to sit down in high areas and simply pick off men... and then think "hey..you know im killing everyone and im winning to simply cuz im sniping..." and the most annoying part of it...they think there good ! ...now i realised all these so called "snipers" cant even play a fast-paced game like unreal tournment,quakeIII,halo and manage to make one kill...its really disappointing to find out that most gatt members.....especially the ones with high rankings and think there so good...cant even take on one person in mid-close range combat... and not to mention it spoils the game for people...especially dreaders like me....so all im really trying to say is....become a man and fight like one in a first person and learn how to play properly before you snipe....besides...snipers who i consider good are men who can strafe and make kills not ones who sit and wait for em...

Because it is a part of every human- to hit someone where they cant see you. A sniper is invincible. (or supposed to be). Cowardly people also like to be snipers; i guess they dont have to look their enemy in their eye; hit them in the back.
Ever saw enemy at the gates? People dream of that power.

but for most games i don't play sniping
i like to choose different weapons and play arround to see which are the best for what ever kinda opponent i am tryin to play

Let me clue you guys in on something

The Sniper is a feared and respected military rank.

War is about killing the enemy before he kills you.

In a real fire fight there is no circle strafing and rabbit hopping. Hence you keep your mc @$$ outta sight and keep your mc head down.Or else you can kiss your @$$ goodbye and say hello to St. Peter when you reach the pearly gates.

This easily translates to "realistic" FPS games.

So dont knock the Sniper because you were too stupid to move around cautiously in the first place.

Oh and me I'm not a sniper  I consider myself special ops

I do it all CQB,Demo and Sniping

So quit b!tching because someone blew your head off from outta nowhere while you were too busy trying to be rambo.

camping implies you stick to the same spot over and over because you've played that map a hundred million times anbd that's your 'spot'
good snipers keep on the move, keep to cover and carry a good backup weapon.

and since when most gatters could snipe? i know of few men who are any good at this. 95% are just run an gun.

Well I can do both run n gun and snipe...aw hell, I can run and gun WITH a sniper rifle!!

Vassili Zaitsev is my role model. I researched all i can on this legendary sniper and the practical saviour of Russia. This man knew how to do things and BE a soldier.

Sniper's ARE soldiers in all ways and to be aniper requires more than most ppl think. A steady hand, quick reload, silent movement and dealing with practically NO backup weapons or ammo when depleted. Cuz snipers hardly have power weapons when it comes to close quarters combat, mostly no more than a light SMG or pistol. SO I don't see the reason for all the quarrel. If you can't listen to your commander and KEEP yo Mofo head hidden, then sucks to be you when you get a bullet in your arm or leg.

Well since I was a young laddy I was fascinated by accuracy. whether it be archery, a watergun or a knife on a mago tree.So when i first saw sof and those other games, i knew where i would have fun the most. Nothing cowardice about it IMO. Back in my sof day, when I ran out of rifle bullets I used to go down and  fight it  out-did pretty well down there too, but i had more fun aiming. So if anyone doesn't like it, blah.

well "sanosuke" snipers may be good in the operations of stealth...but remember WE ARE TALKING ABOUT VIDEO GAMES NOT REAL LIFE.... besides not as if any of us will join the military anytime soon....secondly...in a video game...sniping requires ZERO SKILL...in real life i can have respect for them yes...but in a video game..where you stupidly wait for your kill..simply becuase you cant go up close to do it.....welll.....guess i have one thing to say

and as i sed before, stop taking the same route all the time...strategize yourself, dont run out like a maniac into No Man's Land
