inertia is the tendency of mass to stay still or, keep moving if it is in motion. there is no way for earth to "build up" enough velocity to escape the sun, if anything its orbit will decay with time. The sun does not exert centrifugal force. There is no such thing. This is only inertia, which acting in a straight line makes a body moving in a curve tend to move away from its point of rotation.
