Author Topic: Calling all Combo Demons of GATT!!!!! (Read 10220 times)

I am suggesting that all the console/fighting gamers in GATT come together to make a compilation of combo videos for different games. This effort, will conclude with the distribution of said videos to the general GATT populace for personal and/or public viewing.

I am interested in doing this so that "WE" the console gamers of GATT who are very much underrated, forgotten and looked down upon, can send a clear message to all the rest this association that "WE ARE STILL HERE!!!!!!!!!!"

Any fighting game will do, from pocket fighter to this Mugen I've been hearing so much about, to KOF to Street Fighter. All efforts will be considered as soon as we organize a general recording venue for these videos.

Any recommendations are very much welcome.

true that, and a poor one at that. ITs for non serious gamers.

I of course suggest xmen vs street fighter
but as the playstation version is utter mess, i suggest a pc recording be used.

And of courses the street fighters and i had an idea for fifa and nba streets videos as well.

SC and SC2 of course.

SC vids will be very difficult to make mainly because you will need 2 players. Juggles can't be used as the opponent can easily AC out of harms way.

I've never played Mugen anyway, it was just a suggestion. Didn't know it was that bad off.

Bob, have you ever seen the Death combos for Kazuya and Nina? I have a nice 5 tag juggle with Kasumi and Ayane if I remember their names properly. Hell, if any of you are low on ideas, give me a shout.

Whoa, big idea from RB there. My VCR is kinda screwed but I think I can get it done. The question still remains about the actual editing. I may have some for Bloody Roar 3 ready as well as some XvSF and MvC2 infinites. I'll see how many I can get done this week and give them to RB. I have to organize a concept to go for as well. All in all, it should be pretty good.

The strange thing is that in Soul Calibur, juggles are mostly gauranteed one hit after the initial launcher. From there, the opponent can air control i.e. move in mid air and escape the rest of hits. Nothing is for certain when it comes to juggles in SC. I do have vids for it though, but they are called skill projects.

one of my dorm mates got a cam with svideo chord yay so ill be caming up our tekken and sc2 on ps2 sessions and ill see what i can capture for last blade 2 and xmen

Right now I've finished the recording for EX3 but I have to redo it as the tape I was recording it on is very unreliable.

so far imperial has given me a tape (i'm impressed with his work) , i've done some of my own recording(kof , svc , xmen vs sf) chrono x has contributed some stuff.... wheres the rest of tapes ?

Speaking of which, I kinda need that tape back to record some extra stuff. I just got the hang of a 326 hitter. I don't know I'll include that in there though, but I have a few more things to add to the mix.
