Definitely Batman.
Let's face it, people.
Batman has it ALL going for him.
He has an arsenal of weapons at his disposal.
He has ATTITUDE.
He can appear out of NOWHERE and return just as quickly.
He kicks ass and takes names.
And, if he's REALLY P.O.ed? He can single-handedly TAKE OUT the ENTIRE Justice League. Heck, if you've watched Teen Titans, his own protege, Robin, can easily mop the FLOOR with the other Titans. Heh...I guess Batman has taught him well.

Too bad this poll was so restricted, though.
Had it just been 'What's your favorite super-hero?', I would have picked Wolverine, hands [or claws] down. Because attitude is one thing, but being sliced to ribbons by a dude who can take a barrage of bullets and shrugs them off as if it was nothing? Different story.

batman has to drive a car as his means of transportation - superman can fly!
so this means that batman has to spend money on gas and at the car wash...cus he hadda roll on some clean 20s

batman has to use objects (weapons) to fight and defeat his foes - superman does jus share the lixx with his fist and foot!

batman only makes a fast and clean exit for commisioner Gordon...come on the man is old so his senses are slow..that's y he doh notice when batman gone....

um killa yur real misguided, when people speak of green lantern they are generally speaking of hal jordan and then maybe kyle raynor. not jon what ever his name is the fake green lantern.

Batman never wipe no floor with superman, bat man has had his ass handed to him by lord kal el for thinking he to dread.

Bat man in his own words and from the words of the batman writers, has admitted that superman could kill him in a split second IF HE WANTED TO.

In any instance that batman has had a hand up on superman, its been a case where superman told batman that if he were ever to go out of control, what to do to defeat him, even giving him a kryponite gauntlet to use against him in a worst case scenario. People please dont believe the hype of the cartoon all the time.

Dont ever forget the amount of needles superman has in everyone.

People who are rating anyone except super man as the best super hero, are not well versed in english aparently, cause they fail to grab the jist of the question.

The question basically asks, who is the best at being a super hero.

And there is no question about it, that there is NONE GREATER THAN SUPER MAN at being a HERO.
attitude, gadgets, and favourable writing from the writers aside. Batman is not a great superhero, he does not always have the innocent in mind, he is to bent on doing things his way, to bother to do things, the RIGHT way.

He doesnt have the balls, to be half the man that superman is.
