TMNT< fans should know what this means.

Now this may be old news, since some of you insist in getting on my case for saying something that some one may have mentioned before. But in an attempt to revamp the old game/cartoon/toy series, Kevin Eastman has licensed Konami to make a tmnt game. If you dont know what TMNT means, well i means Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Now the tabloids give it an average grade, but i think it might be enjoyable, esp for the die hard turtle fans. Its cross platform as far as i can tell. For the 411 check this site.

Ive played the demo

It is lackluster and repetitive

Too much emphasis on cell shading and not enough on martial arts.

The snes version had way more moves available per turtle than this new one.

Bottomline old school turtles games rule

This new one is good but not great

LAWD!!!!!  Dizzle brought back some of the things that haunted my childhood sleep.  Games like that are part of the reason, till this day, that I find it hard to find peace.

How far have any of you gotten in the first TMNT anyway.  The furthest I've gotten was the technodrome.

It kind of reminds me of Hulk...except you don't grab pieces of the environment and smash the enemies...however you can hit a parked car till it explodes and that can help you take out some guys...yourself included if you move away fast enough. But the gameplay is extremely repetitive...was fun for the first 15mins...then the fun factor started to go down for me...so I uninstalled shortly thereafter...I ain't got time for that now that I've got Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time :)

7/10 in my books. Decent, but gets repetitive too fast.

The new TMNT game in my opinion is quite enjoyable. Some people asking for blood. Ninja Turtles was ALWAYS a repetitve beat em up game so dont complain about "it's too repetitive mommy" Nah like they should add in some Turtle Guardian Forces or something. The next thing is that they are trying to revamp the TMNT name for the new generation, you cant obviously expect them to place the old 90s type music into it. Granted some liked the old tunes but that's mostly because that's what you grew up on and it'll always seem a bit better to you someway or the other. It's a new feel and look now and it is what appeals to the kids of today and heck I played the demo a few months back and loved it. I love the music and now playing the full thing just added to the glory. I welcome the change. It's like me and my Holy grail Half-Life. Hell I worship that game for thy kingdom come, no matter what valve and sierra do to Half-Life 2 now I HIGHLY doubt they can make me the feel the same experience I felt with the first Half-life title back in 1998. And hell if they do thumbs up to them for accomplishing such a thing but hey I'm not complaining about all the changes they made. I'm welcoming it, if gaming was just remakes of old games with new graphics then after a while things would suck. No originality comes out of that in my opinion. Yes there are some old games I'd DIE to see with new graphics put into it but there is a limit to everything and that limit begins when a company just does it to "cheese" as much cash out of a past successful title.

Out with the old, in with the new...change is sometimes good and hence we must adapt
