Love the new thing ....
Need a GeForce4 and some RAM for styles to Run some Raven Shield and Splinter Cell..
Any Place in mind???

suggestion 1 : get a radeon , even though Geforce's are more stable and cheaper [ in trinidad ] Radeons will blow you away with their rich colours , high speeds and affordability [ online ] .
Suggestion 2 : Don't buy nutting in trinidad except Carib . People will sell you 8500s for 1000 and up when you can get them for 450 online ,

or i've heard PRW is extremly cheap also
A gf 440mx will run splinter cell etc nicly...about 450TT for it if i'm not mistaken

mx 440 = no pixel shader therefore you cannot immerse yourself in the full experience of FX .
5200 = pixel shader but no speed for non DX9 titles
8500-9200 = All of the above for 450 TT

the Wizz my ass ill never buy from them cocky bastards in POS. they have a habit of treating ppl like crap and still expect yuh to buy they stuff.

as for all this ati vs nvidia ill be very honestas far as the older dx8 cards go nobody beats nvidia and thats a fact. in quality and standards and their dx8 cards are not only getting cheaper but their still very powerfull to deal with todays game. so you miss a couple more shadows youd laugh if i told you the notable difference between dx7 and dx8.

if youve got money to burn and a system thats got new age pep then go for a newer ati card. if you system hasnt even entered the ghz range then id advise not wasting the cash.

i just got splinter cell..... it needs ALOT more than a geforce 4 mx to play it "nicely" [well my idea of nice is no fps lag at 1024x768 with 80% of options on ] my radeon 8500 128mb gets quite a few choppy periods in the outdoor levels with the shadow details at the lowest. If the geforce 4 mx 440s at the internet cafes cannot play CC:G smooth at the lowest settings it will DEFINATLY not be able to play splinter cell smooth [i get 30-40 fps in generals with everything on at 1024x768] .
9600XT or 9600 pro should handle the newer games good,as long as you have a decent system to back it up
