it's very scary, and it CAN happen to you. A friend of mine got kidnapped a few weeks ago, luckily he got away without being hurt.
That incident brought it home. My family and my friends are all concerned for each others, and our own, safety.

We really do need to realise that this is a big threat. People are also being killed when they resist (THIS happened to the relative of someone i know) and it is damn frightening.

i think it's a crying shame that this is happening in the first place, and thus far, who knows wat you can do other than be wary?

i knew it was only a matter of time before the sprangers realise the easy way of making money...kidnapping.
why bother to rob a store when you can kidnap the store daughter and get more money? less effort, less time, less energy,less planning, less chance of being caught. what needs to be done is the army go out in the streets, set up curfue an thing. and catch the bastards, even if its only a few they catch!
