Gran Turismo Sport Beta: New High Octane Footage Released

Gran Turismo Sport is only available in a closed beta right now, but new high-resolution gameplay footage released on YouTube is taking all fans deep into the action.

The closed beta began on March 17 and was only open to select PSN users in the US. It’s still unclear when the game will be released. In August 2016, developer Polyphony Digital said the team needs “more time to perfect GT Sport” and that the game would launch sometime in 2017.

Gran Turismo Sport promises to be the most ambitious game in the racing series, featuring two-year-long championships that players will be able to race in. Those will end with a ceremony where winners celebrate alongside real-world racing champions. The game will be exclusive to PlayStation 4 and is being developed to support PlayStation VR.
