Hey all!This is for those who have seen both Vampire Hunter D movies.Now we know that both were really top quality Anime,but because I've heard all sorts of responces from ppl when I ask the question ,I thought I'll put it up for all to respond.
Which one u all find was better?

Yeah I agree.1 was real bad too eh but....the style of drawing in 2000 just real bad!

i never saw the original, but i did really like bloodlust.

the first one was better
D had some real hell with his oppenents in that movie
remember the guy who can bend reality
so when D stabbed him in fact D stabbed himself
bada$s!!

Bloodlust was d baddest because his motive was extremely unclear until the end he expressed such confusion as a character and excellence as a hunter it was unreal

bloddlust of course!!! i mean the animation was just clearly better......

......I'm at a stalemate, but if i HAD to choose... original. The fight sequences in BloodLust has a WAY better advantage over the original (then again, the original was made in the 80's....)

BUT the original gains points storywise. I mean, lone stranger walks into town and is a big hero (I know, i know, Shane had somewhat the same plot, but that's not the point!), but D really delivered in that show. The man storm the Count castle and rescue the gyal like nuttin. And the violence! LAWD! One of the best things i eva see in my life was when the big stink giant fella grab D foot when he was jumping off the bridge. D stab the man hand yes. Then he whip out a bomb, D cut the bridge make he hands get stick on the bridge and the bomb explode on the fella blowing way half of his face! Then to top things off, the man STILL get back up and D stab the man through he mouth, all this going on D carrying the girl on he back. IF THAT NOT REAL MAD, I DOH KNOW WHAT IS!

The animation on Bloodlust was top of the line though. The backgrounds was refreshing, D looked quite spectacular and the sound.... geez THE SOUND! Very dread. One of the best scenes i saw in Bloodlust was when D was walking towards the resting place of Meir and he start to flick the little pebbles at the tower that was shooting the beams. THAT WAS MAD!.........So much things yuh could talk bout in the D universe, so little time.

In short, both were good. I luv em both

I hadda point out that D's fight scenes were some what rushed to me..The last fight scene was magnificent and the ring rolling up the word was genius and the shower of arrows was MAD. But I didn't really like some of the other fights.

I like bloodlust better because it involved other hunters like D and what they are capable of doing which by the way impressed the hell out of me. I also love the way they made him interact with the girl showing some emotion and

Yeah....and faithfull.Like in the original when it got sliced off,it crawl back to D.That was bad.

But d hand not as bold as D they are a good combo. I enjoyed hearin him wine about the heat syndrome until it actually affected him. THOSE FLYIN STINGRAYS ARE BAD
