More or less. Qloxx...you may've left out a point or two but that's it. Anyone with half a brain, a shred of honestly and a teaspoon of responsibility knows this.

what if i have 5/8 brain,a teaspoon of honesty and a shred of responsibility?

You'd need to suppliment it with a carton of milk, a loaf of bread amd a stick of butter.
What can you do to end the hunger?
It's no surprise that many will die with the coming shortage of food
When there is no grain to feed the butchered cows
When there is nothing to feed yourselves...
Then you will see that money can't be eaten.

Ok back on topic in my store i get a lot of people bying games for their pre teen and teen (over 13, below 16) for presents and you know what was at the top of the list, Gta dosent matter witch one they just wanted Gta witch was really sad because i tried to point out other great games but to no avail. So with a heavy heart i sold it to them but form the parents i could see exactly how the kids were going to turn out.

Surprisingly it's different here in the store I work, I usually ask the parents what's the age of the person they buying it for. Then I let em know the rating of game ( in gta's case M for mature) some take it into consideration others don't but just like you I know how it is. If they want it I got no choice to sell em it. Not me and them parents nah, I remember one after I gave her San Andreas came back and said no one told her what type of game it was, even after I told her what it was about. was salt for her yes. Was even worse for 50cent Bulletproof , a man see the big M that appear on the screen and still take it for he 11 year old son and then come back and make noise. Ignorance is effin bliss oui.

Quote
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - A woman who competed in a radio station’s contest to see how much water she could drink without going to the bathroom died of water intoxication, the coroner’s office said Saturday.

Jennifer Strange, 28, was found dead Friday in her suburban Rancho Cordova home hours after taking part in the “Hold Your Wee for a Wii” contest in which KDND 107.9 promised a Nintendo Wii video game system for the winner.

“She said to one of our supervisors that she was on her way home and her head was hurting her real bad,” said Laura Rios, one of Strange’s co-workers at Radiological Associates of Sacramento. “She was crying and that was the last that anyone had heard from her.”

It was not immediately know how much water Strange consumed.

A preliminary investigation found evidence “consistent with a water intoxication death,” said assistant Coroner Ed Smith.

irony of ironies.. her name is 'Strange'......  i heard of alco poisoning.. i heard of nicotine poisonin.. but water poisonin? gd!

Damn...the things people will do to freak a lil game. A wii aient even that expensive she could have simply bought one if she wanted. I know I would have. Sigh. Bloody idiots. It won't be surprising that that radio station gets sued for big bucks, even though they didn't force her to drink the water, the legal system may decide that they were responible in a way.

I think what happened there was that she consumed so much water that it ended up making her blood too watery, therefore impairing its ability to carry oxygen to various parts of the body, and you know, oxygen is not really that important, only if you want to live, well then it's important. I guess some Biology guru could confirm/deny this.

The reason she probably didn't is because it's damn near impossible to find a Wii atm considering they all sell out within hours of reaching a store, and only a few arrive in every shipment.

So if someone had a similar competition, would YOU drink water until you burst to get a wii? Maybe they could put it on top your coffin, providing they don't so like the radio station and still keep it. These competitions are just designed to make a spectacle out of people and see how far they would go in order to win some prize.

Water poisoning is hard to get , it usually only happens when your on drugs like Ecstacy and they mess up your  kidneys/bladder , and make you thirsty to drink lots of water. Once you pass a certain concentration in your blood your cells will start to burst all over from swelling and you go dead.

  Damn dotish americans .
