Why de eff we can't jus have men bein evil for bein evil sake anymore? I is de only youth who grow up watchin 80s cartoons? Bring back the evil for evil sake, every other mofo these days have some kinda sad story to redeem him.
I don't need my villains being evil for evil's sake. I just don't need my clearly well fleshed out villains being deus ex machina'd into being good and I hate shyamalanian styled plot twists. I'll reserve any further opinion to see if he intends to make Itachi a sympathetic character or a well-intentioned sociopath. Either way he has a lot of hole to plug now. Especially itachi's maniacal show of emotion in his last battle there and reason as to why he chose to go about it that way more than "he wanted to push him forward", because that would be stupid. Even for Shonen.
