jus watched it.....

sigh poor nathan really didnt expect him to sacrifice himself, i guess peter couldn't fly himself cause he had his hands fill trying not to go nuclear.

the mr devou scene (richard roundtree) i found was quite appropriate, it had us guessing, wondering about who were the generations before with abilities, it clearly made peter stick out as the strongest of them all because of his compassionate nature, (he is an empath after all) and willing to sacrifice himself to save others.

there were some crappy plotholes, like how the hell no one noticed sylar body disappearing? i mean he is supposed to be like uber dangerous right? was he dragged to the sewers by the villain that shall not be named? i dont think the cockroach has anything to do with it, it is just an allusion to mohinder's statement in the first episode about God being a cockroach...because of their tenacious nature or something...

how Dl could survive so long with a gunshot wound, losing all that blood? lying down in corridor all kinda ting, anyways that is tv for ya. (also possible love connection between micah and molly in future)

also what was the significance of the images in sylar's eyes after getting stabbed? did his powers leave him? did he shutdown to reboot or something?

im flipping out over that episode.......yet I'm feeling so crappy at the fact that we have to wait so long untill the next season....hold on while I beat the smallville ppl for a while.....but smallville is UBER anyhow you take it.......Heroes just fresh and closer to what we grew up with like XMEN and comics and super heroes.

I really wonder what the hell happened to sylar..........

Sylar went down pretty easy. The man can stop bullets from point blank range yet he could not stop a lounging katana weilding Hiro? Especially when he knew to expect it?

Was expecting nothing short of a beheading of Sylar. Since he was notorious for taking heads himself. A stab wound to the belly seems hardly sufficient to consider the most deadly mutant down for the count.

Kudos to the series for being gutsy and killing off so many characters. They really shocked me with that. Had me really uneasy. Not knowing who was gonna die next.

Though I suppose Hiro could go back in time and save everyone if he wanted, lol

Not quite understanding how Peter had the power to stop the explosion when it was nathan that came and whisked him away. He had no part in bringing Nathan to that scene. Anyone could explain that a bit clearer?

I would have to say because Peter was "scared" as he said and depending upon someone else to save him or stop him....he did not think or just was absolutely not in control....overload...from taking all sylar's powers. However what I think is that Peter does not absorb powers...Peter already has all the powers but he unlocks them when he comes into contact with the person that has a single power which are the ppl who absorbed the powers from him in the 1st place due to their genetic make up and the came into contact with him ages ago which we have not been shown yet..........(go play with that thought ppl)

BTW what if sylar saw future into the future and believes that being so call killed is the way to attain a higher purpose......so what if he knew what he was doing.....also what if lenderman knew what he was doing......what if he knew he was going to be killed and allowed it ? :S..........Lenderman is to dread of a character to just kill off so anyhow that's why we'll see him when he was young and with the older generation of heroes as they once tried to save the world. Now we get to deal with their story and get all tied up in it YAY.....

I was thinking about that new villan and all that I could think of was ULURU (please refer to graphic novels) but I've been wrong before. the plothole i hated at the end wasn't the fact that Sylar never used TK to stop Hiro from stabing him I can even forgive DL surviving a gun shot but Niky kicked Candice a$$ and she shifted back to the fake image of herself and not to the real one.

I understand how you like to overanalyze Lilith. I used to do the same with the Matrix Trilogy which is allot more complex than ppl think it is. Point being this is hollywood and tv, they leave that detail out on purpose for the mass audience. Its pretty clear that somewhere along this tv show the fans of the show and bureocrats collided
No offence to anyone, but you didnt see the amount of McDonalds commercials in this show, wonder what "level" audience they appealing too there

on some forums people deliberate about peter not being able to use two powers at the same time, i think the real issue was that he was trying too hard to prevent himself from going nuclear so he couldn't focus on flying. he still is a noob with his powers, so he is far away from full mastery.

Personally, I found the finale to be a bit anti climatic. I settled down with snacks and drinks expecting a big showdown between Sylar and Peter. That fight was almost as lame as fights between Clarke and his villains in Smallville.

ok i was gonna quote a few of the issues mentioned here and explain them buh nah das too much work.

Baego, sylar was stabbed in the chest not the stomach, hiro was undoubtedly aiming for the heart.
PLus he was trained by a ninja from star trek, so he owns all base.

Lilith, when candice was knocked out by crazy bi.. er i mean nikki, and didnt revert to her real state.

People like rachel and candice, who use illusions and telepathy to project an image of themselves because of a deep psychological lack of self confidence in their image, maintain the image even after being knocked unconcious.
Its a well known trait of rachel summers and i guess they borrowed it for candice as well.



As for not seeing nathans body.... IT WAS A NUCLEAR EXPLOSION!!! THERE IS NOOO BODY TO BE HAD!
lol, he couldnt have survived the explosion if he was in range of it, but the writers could have done the smart thing and made him fly up and toss peter as high as he can, although he would still have been over exposed to radiation and would now be sick.

To bad peter didnt meet linderman.

CMR that idea about peter having all the powers and tra la la is silly, forget it.
The writers have already stated peters rogue/sync esque abilities.

FYI: Heroes Season 1 comes out on DVD and HD-DVD tomorrow. I go spring for the DVD version since I don't have a HD-DVD player yet and don't feel like buying one right now. Also, the DVD goes for about $40 US and the HD-DVD is between $70 - $100 depending where you buy it.
