Well the thing is, that type of tournament is gonna take time to pull off...ppl have to be ready to come early and leave late, tourney 3.0 is gonna be that style, I'm having 2 smaller ones in the meantime, one before the new banlist and one after, so it's gonna help ppl transition over.

Depending on the voice of the duelists present on Sunday, I shall decide whether to keep the format like normal, or to go a straight 8-round Swiss tournament. So, those who come out for it, your opinion counts, so make it heard!
I hope we have a decent turnout again, that can help to up the prizes a little bit then.

Well it's just like the initial 5 rounds that we play for Swiss, except that it'll be 8 rounds...and no playoff..1st and 2nd will be determined straight after the 8 rounds are done.

well in that case we're competing for the same amount of points , cause in total you play 8 games granted u qualify anyway
only difference is that beginners and lower ranked duelists will be able to have more duels...

And that's the point, plus people wouldn't be tempted to 'relax', in thinking they made it to the final 8, and just has to concentrate from there on. They would have to keep up the intensity all the way through...

Well the tournament is over, congrats to Kajun for demolishing almost all competitors with the power of the Dark side, and claiming victory in the tournament. Congrats also to Ravi Ramdial, who came out of nowhere to power to 2nd place, and congrats to Rio Charles for just being edged out into 3rd.
Also a special overall congrats to the duelists resident within UWI, for claiming 3 of the top 8 spots, you guys are improving, just keep on going up.

well thanks ... well chaotic u said u wanted a challenge and the UWI men are comming up, i'd like to think i had some good influence on them lol. i forgot ravi took 2nd place congrats to him. But spk i really didnt like the format of the tournament. i prefer a clear victor being decided from the elimination round. In the format from sunday it wasnt as exciting. No big Crowsd around the champions' tables in the finals. and i think it was catastrophic of some duelists' points. anyway yea see you all at the next tourny
