Well I'm hosting a Yu-Gi-Oh tournament again, after a full year since my first one.

Date: Sunday 19th February, 2006.

Location: UWI Student Activity Centre.

Time: Registration will be from 9am-11:30am. Tournament will begin once registration is completed.

Format: 5 round Swiss, top 8 playoff.

Entry Fee: $60 per entrant.

Prizes (tentative based on turnout, so it can be higher or lower depending):

1st place - $600

2nd place - $250

Additional prizes will be randomly given to players that do not qualify to the top 8. This will be in the form of cards, rare and holos, so even if you don't make it to the top 8, you'd still win something!

People without Upperdeck registration numbers can be registered on the morning of the event, please come early though since it takes time to fill out details, so it will be appreciated for everyone to not wait till the last half hour before saying that they don't have an Upperdeck number then.

How do you become an official Upperdeck number?
I've neve ever been in a tournament and even if i could they are on a saterday which is a no no for me.This sounds good but i'm not and official member.

Also Kiya, look closely, the tournament is on a Sunday, so if you have issues with lessons on Saturday, you can still come out.

Cool i'll have to beg though my parents are not big on the yu-gi-oh thing plus i live far from UWI firther than RIo Claro. I told my mom about it last night when we were in UWI and she said(theres more to life that that!)Oh and if i cant come is there some way that i can still obtain a UDE card mabe in the mail or something.

If you're also interested, Kiya, you can leave your information with SPK and I'll arrange to have a personal and formal invitation sent to you (from me) so you can attend the Duelist Kingdom Championships 2006 this May. I am considering hosting it on a Sunday as well (due to the unpredictable nature of my schedule, now that I am working) to better accomodate those who have lessons or work on a Saturday.

There are many benefits to attending tournaments, after all. Not only will you be competing against several other duelists such as yourself, but you'll be doing it for fun and fabulous prizes, too. Think of it as a big boost towards social interaction with the duelist community (as well as the chance to stuff a little something in your wallet!) If you can, try to make it to SPK's tournament so you can see how the duelist culture is. Ask around for me as well so I can arrange something for you.

Well, I always welcome new people to the tournament scene, boy or girl, so you are welcome to come down, even if u can't come to my tourney, just keep posted in here, there are tournaments every month, so I'm sure u can find the time to come out sometime soon.

Duelist Kingdom Championships 2006 I realy wana be there for that one but i still dont have a UDE card. Can one be mailed to me? If i cant make the one in april then hopefully i will be able to soon as long as its not on a sat . Oh and are they any nds trounys? I want to play my nds yugioh game with others! I live in funrose Village Poole for those that want to know.

Unfortunately, it cannot be mailed, since it will require your signature before you recieve your number, so when you are able to come out to one of these tournaments, you will be able to recieve one, as long as i am the Tournament Organizer at least.
