I like it fellas, like the response from computerman and all, we should be able to give a lil talk and take a lil as well, just soo long as nobody get serious.  We finally on level ground. The foolish talk to me is just to encourage stronger competition, thas all. Kajun, welcome back, but with all respects, NOOOOOOOOOO, slow down black ninja. You have much competition to go through, but after seeing these kinds of faggot decks you does be playing us with, i have no doubt that you will cause much problems. Smurf, I hope that you mean you participating in the tournament, it will; be good to see the old veteran in action, and hopefully play against you myself. Get a legendary duel going.

I think i will take a hand in this tourney. We can even make it a big event. As long as we have 75 people we can definately swing it.
The big tourneys have their place in the grand scheme of dueling.  An occational big tourney, maybe two or perhaps (dare I suggest it) three per year should keep the masses satisfied.
I truly believe that we need to have more small tourneys...perhaps one per month.  These tourneys are not for big prizes, but for the love of the game.  I expect that we may see 20 to 30 true duelists attending these each month.  And if we can keep the costs down and keep the prizes 'simple' I'm sure we will more than satisfy the craving for top notch competition by those of us who truly enjoy this game!
I was hoping to host some of these this year, but if work continues as it has for the year so far I will have to look at mid 2006 as a posibility instead.
Of course, now that we have Certified Tournament Organisers we have no excuse for not making any and all tournaments official!

Smurf, if you are consifering organising another GATT tourney for the long school vacation period please let us know.  I am sure there are many who are willing to assist, whether it be judging, organising or otherwise.

Good idea Computerman....we can even merge the 2 ideas. Have many small tournaments leading up to a larger one to be held in July. This can be done withthe help of our team or experienced tournament personnel. I think that a new venue....more closed in is also needed. Working on that now.

Chaotic, I don't know how much of an opponent i will be having since long retired from the game. I don't have the time, energy or money to rebuild my deck, but if you will allow me a courtesy i think we can duel.

Well I may look to host a small tourney soon, with a small entrance fee, but no prizes, but for the sake of rankings...(entrance fee to cover rental of chairs/tables, food and drinks,  and anyone who was here for my tourney last time would know how we cover well :) ).

If u all cool with that I could have one set up soon enough....

this sounds wonderfull :)

i was  a bit sad with the unfriendly start of the thread, but now it seems like the heart of the cards( i know , that was completely gay) shone thru in the end.

I wanna get back into duelling sooo badly, i have been working on my deck, getting new cards and deck ideas all the time, but i havent been able to get ONE SINGLE DUEL as yet.

*sniffle*
so iam loving the idea of the frequent mini tourneys, not for money, but for experience and love of the game and for possible official ranking points.

Ive about given up on finding somewhere to duel in the west.
So if alyuh east men would gimme ah bligh and direct me to a frequent duelist location of the east, id be most gratefull

yeah, but there was some cross over action.
since they've already got duelling facilities, would be a good place to start.

I think that a new venue....more closed in is also needed. Working on that now.
I do hope we get a regular dueling venue soon.  We desperatly need a secure location to sharpen our skills if we intend to make it to the world championships.
As for dueling Chaotic....I can lend you one of my decks...although I still need an Exodia head to complete deck #6.

Well I may look to host a small tourney soon, with a small entrance fee, but no prizes, but for the sake of rankings...(entrance fee to cover rental of chairs/tables, food and drinks, and anyone who was here for my tourney last time would know how we cover well :) ).

That sounds excellent!  But how 'bout a small prize...one booster pack for the winner or perhaps at least their entrance fee + some small $$.  There must be some sort of prize...even if it's purely for ceremonial purposes.  -_-

Whenever you're ready smurf, the challenge is in the open, it's not about pride or who's better for me, I just never had a real duel with you and i want one badly. I want to face the people who pushed this game to where it is today. I've beaten most of your everyday duelists already, no disrespect to any of them cause many of them have beaten me too, but i've held the upper hand on all of them as of SPK's Tournament. I'm out for the duelist legends. I don't want to challenge hidden because, i really don't think he'll take up the challenge, he won't do like smurf and ask for a lil time to re adjust to the game, he'll just say that he can't win because of new rulings and whatnot. Computerman, i hope that gatt's elite team of duelists are ready and if not you should start organising your team, because as soon as SPK sets a date, it's Chaos Legeon vs GATT vs Arima.

Once the date is set we will start to prepare.  However my team (not the GATT team) is currently two players short....until July.

Arima is the duelists who regularly duel in Arima. One of them came 3rd @ my tournament, but the really big one from there no longer duels for the time being (Brent).

BTW, I more consider myself part of the Arima duelists... :P

King Of Duelist 3.0 Tournament Results.
« Reply #458 on: December 10, 2005, 09:35:25 PM »
Well, the tournament was a well fought one, saw many new faces to the official tournament scene, and well...

Here are the top 4 places for the tournament.

1st - Matthew Gittens
2nd - Rio Charles
3rd - Sean Alexander
4th - Joseph Bagot.

Well it was a lot more stressful for me this time around...but I hope most people enjoyed the dueling...

*collapses from intensely high fever.*

P.S: It was fortunate that this tournament had even been sanctioned, cuz I had one nasty case of fever, but still made my way there, even with all the things that had to be done...

*runs off to the bathroom to soak self in cold Grande water*.

Err....SPK? There has to be some sort of mistake. I didn't make it to the semi-finals....Joseph Bagot did. I was knocked out in the quarter-finals by Matthew.
