Just played the inFAMOUS 2 demo. It was like stepping into a familiar pair
of favourite shoes. Absolutely in LOVE with the new powers. I have to find
a replacement for the word 'DAYUMNNN' jus now.

Yet another killer app...that's only on the PS3.

I just finish Portal 2 love that game was funny as ever and the ending made it worth it. The next game i'm getting is definitely Infamous 2 replaying part 1 to prepare.

changes made IMO were unnecessary when they had an almost perfect game in u2

just as i said when i read about power plays they are EPICLY retarded. Cursed got activated and when its active u see everyone as skeletons (same skin) and FF is turned on so u get alot of team killing goin on as ppl cant tell who on their team and when u team kill ur team loses points.......i got teamkilled TWICE and tk'd a teammate becuz of that nonsense.

movement speed is also sluggish and alot slower paced than u2. Why add a sprint button when one wasnt needed? sigh

customisation is very kool tho. ill probably upload some gameplay if they get the party system/invites workin (seems to be a trend with sony games nowadays)

what puzzles me is i dunno why devs feel the need to change up a winning formula, really dont.

Disagree...I find the multiplayer in UC3 to be of epic proportions. Couldn't put it down last night. Power plays keep the game fun and interesting by giving the losing team one chance at redemption while putting the winning team on high alert, i love it, really adds to the tension and hectic feel.Tons of customization, graphical overhaul, levels that come to 'life' and just overall fun factor make this one a winner for me. Anyone who has played the UC2 multiplayer would be able to jump right in. I played last night for a couple hours and didnt lose a single match

Sharp step up from Uncharted 2 (which was already a great multiplayer) IMO....check it out!

yea........scrub teams love power plays. Punish the ppl who actually skilled at the game and give scrubs a chance at making them seem better than they actually are such is the sad state of games these days. No longer ppl wanna earn their kills, ppl just want things handed to them easily

customisation is kool but the game speed is slower than U2, making strafe battles almost non existant now (another thing to help scrubs, since they cant keep a reticle on someone who is strafing)

Spawns are also messed up. about half the time i spawn either right behind enemies or they behind me resulting in me gettin an easy kill before gettin killed or just gettin killed

on the Plus side its nice to see the damage go back to standard Uncharted and not crushing like it was when the QQers found it too hard to kill ppl in U2 resulting in them lowering health but with that said ppl can BUY a booster that raises bullet damage......smh

also u have the cowards that start a gun fight then realise they losing and use the smoke bomb to vanish and teleport away......joy

Hardcore is the ONLY playlist available atm that is good, take out the random crap and leave it up to the skill of the players not random stuff happening that gives u an advantage. Hopefully we get a Hardcore Obj list and Hardcore Ranked list so we can get matched up against ppl of similiar skill and make games intense

Currently not seeing the ranked playlist either which was the only challenging playlist in U2 which kept me playing for so long till they nerfed the game so hopefully ND doesnt make a stupid decision and remove it.

exactly, multiplayer in games should be where anybody could jump in the game and have fun and not end up in a situation where it frustrates you and i think ND has a winning formula on their hand with that one... if you would notice the online world is made up of more "scrubs" than "skilled players" and these are the ones you have to try and get coming back.

if skilled players are really skill they will still be able to have fun whiles taking out a scrub team on a powerplay right?

?.... wow that's very condescending. What makes you think that only "hardcore gamers" should have fun playing multi. I don't think the power plays are that bad. Its not punishment for the winning team as you put it cuz as i know it the winning team is also rewarded for doing well during the powerplay which lasts for only minute. As phoenix said if skilled players are really skill they will still be able to have fun whiles taking out a scrub team on a powerplay.

In any event my post was just my opinion on the game, feel free to disagree without being forceful. Not everyone has to agree with what you say

If naughty dog were to cater to just the "skilled" players Blu_Vice, don't you think their fan base will shrink substantially? That's not a good business decision on their part. They want to attract the "noob" or "Scrub" as you call them and keep them playing their game. Is the game unbalanced in anyway towards "scrubs"? Or is the lack of skill by them balanced out by the enhancements? Hmm? Not everyone is a L33t "skilled" player like you Blu_Vice, so please give the "Scrubs" their power plays...tnx

The U3 beta did start off to a clunky start but after the first patch, it was an absolute blast to play. I've played U2 multi and I can safely say that U3's multi IS a step in the right direction.

Lots of new perks to get you back in the action when you get killed (and I get killed plenty), the inclusion of load-outs, all make for an even better, fun experience.

ND is definitely catering for the "scrub" and skilled player and hopefully proper matchmaking in the final version will separate the two XD

This beta sounding real good, I downloaded it but haven't gotten the chance to fire it up. Are the graphics any better?

without touching the beta i could certainly say yes... 1 and 2 were... and naughty dog's ps2 offerings were top of class as well... thats developer is a safe buy in general
