The integration of these social networking sites onto consoles is nice but I don't see the point since we are so connected via our cellphones, computers etc. Last thing I want is game spam flooding my statuses. Look at those stupid farmville like apps bombarding you with requests lol.

By linking your PlayStation Network account to your Facebook account, you will have the option for the PS3 to automatically update your Facebook News Feed with Trophy and PlayStation Store activity. This update also enables developers to set specific criteria in their titles to publish additional game information to your News Feed. The EU Blog’s James Thorpe has revealed that the much fabled cross-game voice chat is pretty much definitely happening, it’s just a matter of when.
