I download like 6 demos last night along with Rag Doll before hitting the sack. All were finished by morning.

Was pretty impressed.

It is super silly that you still have to install the bloody games after you download them.

What else is sony thinking you'd do with a downloaded demo?? Burn off a copy?

steups. They should auto install.

Anyone knows if such an option exists? (before I put my foot thoroughly down my own throat, lol)

nah... its manual install.
Its how PSN works... the demos, games etc.. are self extracting files.
As for installing automatically after download.. a good idea...but they want to leave choice.
I think when you installing u cant cancel.

On 360 i believe they create the folders etc and install while downloading.

At the very least they should have an "automatically extract and install downloaded demos" option somewhere.

Imagine, get up, starry eyed, run to the PS3 to play freshly downloaded demo, only to be greeted with a 10 minute install. STEUPS!

Yes true at that...and with choice I really meant a scenario like you had a demo downloading and its installing automatically, but u need the ps3 to do something else at that point in time...and you cant cancel. Choice being the user chooses when they should install.

But lol @ starry eyed and the demo.
I've been there many times and don't fault ur argument lol

Out of this list of upcoming exclusives, the only ones that interest me are Infamous and MAG.

GT 5? Nigga please.
God Of War 3? I'll pass.
Uncharted 2 and Heavy Rain? A BIG 'maybe'. Need to see more of those.
All the rest? Steupsssss.

Not saying those games are necessarily 'bad', but I certainly won't be buying em.

MAG......i still on d fence bout da one since clan battles are not possible so is jus ah bunch of randumbs yuh go hadda play wit.

imo 256 players is a gimmick, no one can get 128ppl online at the same time to do any large scale clan battles, doh get meh wrong eh d game gonna be bad but for d competitive gamer like myself who like clan battles an some serious competition it probably wont do it for me.

d smallest mode i see was suppression aka TDM an dat was 64 players. das pressure to get even 32 men online at the same time to play a 32v32 clan battle

d reason why halo an gears are such good competitive games is cuz they built for 4v4 play
look at kz2 for example almost all of the tournaments ppl make are 4v4 yet Guerilla Games gone an release two big a$$ maps as DLC even tho d main draw of MP is d clan system

R2 is another one clans dont play 30v30 games they play 4v4, 5v5 an 6v6

Sony an their devs apparently think packin more players into a game makes it better im seriously hoping MAG proves me wrong.

on another note im gettin da Fragfx V2 soon so ima be testin dat out to see if its any good
