I've only used it with a single and it works, so it could be the dual converter thats the issue.

Where did you get that Saturn PS2 controller from?

I used a dual, and it recognised both of my PS2 controllers as #1 and 2.
I guess mine is just more l33t.

Its the triangular-shaped translucent blue one that I have.

hmm, the blue and red should be more or less the same.

I'm thinking it maybe the saturn pad that is different. I'll try my converter with a regular ps2 controller and see.

I got that saturn controller from an online store some years ago. can't recall which.

I seem to recall hearing about issues with controllers that don't have analog with some converters. My Tekken PS2 stick doesn't work on some converters because of that, but my much older fighting stick 2 does if I switch on analog.

at 1st i real didn't like the ps3 control for sf4...the d-pad was like gravel jed..after a 30 mins my thumb was bawlin' for mercy...but eventually after countless days of beasting... meh thumb learn to take the jammin lol

I know its off topic, but I finally have a reason to get back into UTIII. Truth is, I never really got into it the first place. I just don't want the different controls to mess up my skills in KZ2.

the dpad is stress but still not causing me as much grief as the bloody trigger buttons.

what was sony thinking. I'll try another converter with the saturn and if that fails, madcatz immc oui. Up to 1300+ in the rankings.

Tomorrow I think I'm gonna go for a lil 3000. Time permitting.

Note the word "immediate" nicely worded so a price drop coming in the next few weeks, months not unrealistic just not a drop as of tomorrow lol.

VGChartz contacted SCEA for an official comment following the recent PS3 price drop rumours

With all the recent rumours of PS3 price drops, VGChartz contacted SCEA for comment on the matter:

"Hi Brett,

SCEA has no immediate plans to drop the price of the PS3 system.

As you know, NPD sales numbers for February will be announced today and will include Killzone 2 sales the first couple of days at retail. Given that the title launched so late in the month, we'll see the majority of sales in March. Killzone 2 experienced the highest presale numbers of any first party PS3 title to date and we anticipate that it will be a blockbuster for PS3 and the PlayStation brand."

So there you go, straight from the horse's mouth there are no PS3 price drops planned for the immediate future. This confirms what we've heard from other sources and VGChartz along with most major analysts expects Sony to announce a two-stage price drop for PS3 this year - $50 around June time and a futher $50 before the holidays. Stay tuned for more developments.

We saw the original of this crazy hybrid controller back in 2007, and I can understand why you might want one. I mean, watching console players play FPSes is watching a mudskipper flopping along the bank, thinking “god I’m slick.” They’ve recently updated it, but the principle is the same. Split the Dual Shock in half, remap the right analog stick to a mouse, and put buttons all over that mother.

It still seems like FPS gamers would be working under a handicap compared to a PC (against me, anyway), but if I were to sit down with some Killzone 2 or what have you, I’d buy one of these things sight unseen just to avoid the embarrassment of dual-analog control.

The new version lists improved…well, pretty much everything. I like that it has a “frag button.” If only it were actually that easy. It costs $80, which seems expensive until you try it and realize you’ve been playing games at a toddler level of precision for the last few years.

Yeah but the convenience of not having to use a flat surface is one thing I like in a controller, anyway if ne1 tries this out let us know if it any good hehe
