Hmm I have to see more of God of War 3 and Uncharted 2 to make a decision but i'd say it s a tie between there two and then Killzone 2.

Game Developers arent the ones you should be qq'ing to. Its the programmers, the "Linear, i cant do anything without a direction since i have none" people. If you hear the CRY DOWN these people give about coding for the PS3 you will simply see where the problem lies.

Just confirming, PS3 games bought in Canada would have no issues working on a US PS3 and US PSN accounts right?

i wish this list true

I'd love for this to be true but I'm sure its fake. Internet browser uses 2 spus, one for the xmb and one for rendering flash plus it already sucks up ram, don't see how this would be possible while a game is running.

Yea...I highly doubt in game browsing...Not necessary really..

Yep no problem whatsoever..
The only difference is that the games have both french and english manuals, and at the back english/french details.
PS3 games are region free I believe... (can be used on UK ps3, japan ps3..etc..)

Cool thanks, as for the voice messaging I saw in that fake firmware thing. Is there any way to send voice messages to others if they are offline or is that also something that is not present yet?

Getting a PS3 shortly so just curious hehe. Is there any site that shows current comparisons between the PSN and xbox live service? Such as what you can and cannot do so far? I know I saw some sites with reviews of the PSN service being poor on launch but was more interested in what is now available......

The PS3 doesn't need to arrive, it's already here

"Gamers need to stop worrying about the sales numbers of the PS3 and arguing over the merits of PlayStation Home. The truth is that the system is flush with excellent, exclusive games, and we're way past the point where you can call yourself a hardcore gamer and not own the hardware. Ars makes the case that you shouldn't wait for the PS3 to arrive: it has been here for a while now.

There's no voice message feature as of yet...only text..
And related, you can have a chat room of up to 6 people video/audio.

As for Xbox Live vs. PSN..
The service is better right? as its paid....
For comparison sites..I think alot would be biased and take a few jabs here and there..
So just ask the questions and we'll answer as best we could :)

I'll see how it is in a week or so when I get it. Just was trying to figure out what I am giving up from Live. No biggie though once I find ppl to play with minimal lag I happy yes.

So with the online chat room, you can have 6 friends in a room and then all just jump in a game and play together right? Can you switch in and out between the private chat room and the public game chat or do you need to exit the game to do that?

The chat room is totally outside of gaming.
That's the biggest 1up xbox live has over psn, that is consistent connectivity.

Voice chat is handled by the game you are playing.

This connectivity though is coming through playstation home though.
As time passes by more games are being added to the game launch roster meaning that a group of people can launch into a game right from home.
If course this is the duty of developers to incorporate it...so it's a while til psn gets to the levelof xbox live.
Text messages can be sent at any time to online and offline friends though.

What games you plan on getting woodyear?

I am getting Street Fighter 4 and Socom in about a week and HAWX and Killzone 2 when they come out.

Home is supposed to support Killzone 2 with a patch right? So that would mean better communication/launching games together for that title?

I'll buy a few of those PSN games too like Flower hehe

My advice would be to skip socom and go for Call of Duty:World at War...
Personally do not know alot of people that play socom.... + the game itself isn't that great..alot of laggy servers, poor invitation system etc..
You'd get much more legs with COD:WaW...+ the map pack is out early March.  (and you can play with my clan :P)

And KZ2 I believe is confirmed for Home Game Launching.... just don't know how soon.
I think RE5 supports it right out the box.
