The 1.90 Firmware update just hit Japanese PS3s. Let's dive in and see what the update entails:

• Ability to rearrange games on the XMB
• Option menu now includes "eject disk"
• Press triangle to eject games/CDs/movies in the XMB
• XMB backgrounds
• Change the folder classification
• Emoticons
• Change CD output to 44.1/88.2/176.4kHz
• Force 24Hz output for Blu-ray over HDMI
• Change PS3 video settings in-game
• "Bit Mapping" in the "Music Setting"
• Save AVCHD type animations from a Memory Stick
• Change settings like upscaling while playing PS and PS2 games
• Add bookmarks
• Web browser security function in the browser's tool section
• Avatar moves during audio visual chat

This update is specualted to hit the US tomorrow as well as the UK...
This is a fine update from Sony once again

And this takes us another step forward til in game XMB and the advent of "Home"...

yeah dread it too short though but combo system mad whoever call this god of war need to play it cuz it so mad lol.

yea i got it a couple hours after it came out...forgot to post it here as i diverted my entire connection directly to ps3...
I couldn't do anything in that few hours dred :|

I was all nervous and weak...

The demo was frickin awesome!

Short.....yes... but i can't wait for the full game!

Also the darkness demo rel dred...

Demo is REALLy short...like 10 mins max. Combat system is fantastic, AI is FANTASTIC.......i love it. And you cant just God of War kill everything like a nub.....its GoW style gameplay with long and short ranged weapons but Ninja Gaiden style AI and difficulty. I love

i actually think its rather different from those 2 games although weap similar to GOW the fighting style is very original lotsa enemies who block and attack frequently. Using sixaxis in combos and then the grabs i forget what u call em but when ur meter full anyone around gettin hit with it

. from that little demo i can say its one of the best games ive played lmao.

I just thought it was funny that you can pick up dead enemies and throw them at People. Gotta say though it's a different kind of game...in a good way.

+ the physics engine in the game is amazing...

Aye ya'll pick up a body or any object, then hold X to throw it?
that takes you to first person of the object/body and u cud control its tilt with the sixaxis!

i just press x normal to throw lol i like when u build up three of them circle things for doing stylish combos and then press circle every man dead lol.

Hey guys,

I was thinking about getting a PS3, do they region block certain game demos etc from downloading like they do on the 360?

Anyone know how the failure rates compare to the red rings on the 360?

Can ya recommend any games that trinis play online?

No I am not trying to start a flame war, my 360 just died a second time and I'm thinking about moving over to ps3 for now until the issue is sorted out with the 65mm chips (hopefully)
