Hoss i dunno what alyuh does play on this ting? :(
so far the biggest games i playing on my PS3 are FF12 and DMC (first one) :/
I have resistance, it nice, but it eh no GoW. I have Oblivion since i bought another 360 and sent that for my bro at home with the 360 oblivion.....and daz it :/
Sigma i am very much looking forward too, its pre ordered already. I get my HALO Zune tomorrow too after burning through 2 ipods in 2 years im done with that short battery life sh!t thing.

MGS is on 360 as well now. FF13.....3 more years....at LEAST.

btw i have a 10 page research paper to write this semester on "How can SONY change the industry with the PS3?" Although some of you know me as someone who burns the PS3 I am not. I chose this topic myself because i think the PS3 is the cataclysm the industry needs. SONY would not make a move like this for no reason, its a bold move, its expensive, its risky. It MUST be done though if they want to do something about this industry being stagnated. They are making exclusive titles, they are not focusing on 3rd party but making first party a priority. They are investing in NEW titles....although i am seeing the 360 doing the same.

however, i am going to call PS3 tech support and hear their intro and responses to questions for research. XBOX is very good and very helpful but i cant STAND the way they think you are some 14 year old nub. "you chose to find out about the 360, got it, we getcha someone in a bit".......que rock music (i HATE aslot of the modern day rock music wtf).

Ill be gathering data so anyone with any input will be very helpful.
If you can please hit me  up on MSN and send some links :) peace.

Sony Blair affair wakes up Sony Japan

Church and State

By INQUIRER staff: Wednesday 13 June 2007, 16:37
THE INTERVENTION of UK prime minister Tony Blair in the Manchester Cathedral video game affair appears to have woken up Sony Japan to the religious war that's been raging here in Blighty since last Saturday.

See Tony Blair ticks off Sony over Manchester affair.

Blair, whom Private Eye lampoons as the Reverend A.R.P. Blair of St Albion Parish, told an MP during Prime Minister's Questions today that Sony might perhaps have shown a little more sensitivity rather than have shootups happening in the backdrop to Manchester Cathedral. Manchester has something of a gun problem.

Associated Press talked to Sony in Japan and it has begun talks with the Bishop of Manchester "yesterday or today". Sony Japan apparently takes the church's complaints seriously. She says it's a complex matter because it's quite common for buildings to be used in entertainment. µ

I got a credit card from Circuit City last week and got a nice Toshiba HDTV with no interest financing for 18 months. I was considering getting a PS3 as well but then I checked out the available games ... I could not find one game that was worth getting the system for. Keep in mind that I already have a 360 and will not get a PS3 for titles that I can already get for 360. Blu-Ray is nice but we are not sure which format will be the standard to supplant DVD. Besides, Sony just announced a new standalone Blu-Ray player for $499. If the price of Blu-Ray has gone down that much, maybe a price cut for the PS3 is imminent.

Sony to bump up software titles for Playstation 3

 Not enough titles'r'them
By INQUIRER staff: Thursday 21 June 2007, 09:02

AN EXTRA 200 software titles and 180 download titles will be released for the Playstation 3 in Sony's current financial year.
There's only about 60 titles available right now.
So said Kazuo Hira, CEO and president of Sony in an interview with Nikkei.net .
The primary goal of the boss is to make the Playstation 3 more popular than the Playstation 2, Hira told the newspaper. Other plans for the PS3 include a video sharing service and better collaboration with the software devs. µ

For the PS3 to stay competitive, a price cut has now become a 'necessary evil' so to speak.
Its not selling well because its just too damn expensive.  Period.
Stores that had to hire extra security to sell PS3s now cannot even give em away.  Sony needs to get off
their 'high horse' about that price tag and do something.  The market is slowly slipping away from em.

On a lighter note check this out.
Might make those PS3 FPS games a tad easier now.

That just shows, if Nintendo can invest the Billions they making from the Wii into a 2nd Gen Wii with PS3 graphics, it will RULE the world, MUHAHAHAHA

I am expecting Heavenly Sword to be the killer app for the PS3. PERIOD. For years have i been waiting for a game company to put a Heroine into a game and make her someone worthy of what she should be. I honestly believe they have hit the nail on the head with Niriko. there were SO many games with sooooo much potential.....and they just turned out to be something terrible and abysmal. they focused too much on the "coolness" which is useless and not enough on compelling gameplay and storyline. We know our Lara Croft, we know our Princess Peach and so forth.
games with potential with female chars that have fallen, and could have been soooo much more

PN 03 (fantastic idea.....wth happened?)
Bullet Witch (another great idea....and a very movie - game result)
Bloodrayne (wasnt tooooo bad)
Death By Degrees (fellas, you had it MADE....jesus man :( )

This is most recently. Before however there were some nice chars...recently chars such as Ashley from RE4, inphyy from N3 was a fantastic character.....and then.......i dunno :(. Again Rayne was very good in bloodrayne....her character was remarkable...someone in search of answers...and then.....:(.

Vanessa Schneider from PN 03 was sucha  great idea. Music driven action game.....nice moves, fluid ideas and movements.....then.....she only does one thing :P and all the fluid stuff is special moves....great :(

Perfect dark Zero...my lord :( all this flamz and then you make assinine controls for the game and worse online gameplay. What gives?

We CANNOT forget Samus......the omgwtf at theend of the NES game. The bounty hunter that is like the female version of Bobba Fett...c'mon she kicks@ss and is awesome.

Alexandria Rovias.....from Eternal Darkness.....the decendent of a really f*cked up family and such an incredible game. You dont really play her in the game much but the inclusion of her in such a fashion is incredible

We can digress and talk about Mai, Kasumi and the DOA ladies, Ling, nina,  and all the Tekken ladies etc etc. however I am focusing on the action action oriented games where a female is the protagonist.

Anyone else wish to add to this list? Or any new news on Heavenly Sword.

Inside the Developers Studio: Nina Kristensen
Co-founder of Ninja Theory Ltd. & Chief Development Ninja

1. What game do you have at E3 this year?
Heavenly Sword - I saw that you, the readers here, have given us 3,700+ votes in the poll on this blog as one of the most anticipated titles of the year, so thanks!!!

2. Tell us more about your game. What’s the story?
The game is a blast to play, we’ve been flattered by the great write-ups so far. We have a great story line as well so here it is: Heavenly Sword is a story of revenge and redemption centering around our heroine Nariko…she’s the one in the screen shot above. She was born into a clan who had been guarding the Heavenly Sword for generations. They had been expecting a god to be born to reclaim the sword, but instead got Nariko. She has been seen as a curse on the clan ever since and when King Bohan invades, the idea of her being an omen of evil fractures the clan. As the King persecutes and decimates them, Nariko is the one that many blame. In a moment of desperation she decides to take charge and use the Heavenly Sword to destroy King Bohan and his army…

3. What did you do on this game that you couldn’t do on another platform?
We’re exploring how to utilize as much of the power of the PS3 as we can to create a powerful atmosphere. There’s a lot of stuff in there, and everything in the game is designed with this in mind. With the level of fidelity we have been able to achieve in performances (detailed facial animations etc), we’re looking to draw you in, to emotionally engage you. Within the combat (which is comprised of thousands of animations), we introduce cinematic cameras to show off your coolest moves. The environments are huge and filled with atmospherics to make it feel alive and real. You can smash up pretty much everything in the environment and all these objects behave naturally under physics. There’s a colossal amount of things going on at once, and you’ll know it from the moment you pick up the controller!

4. What do you think is the coolest aspect of this game?
The super-style moves are the coolest. They’re big and dramatic, you have to work quite hard to get them (especially the level 3 ones) and they completely annihilate the enemy. It’s just so much fun. My personal fav is the one where you drag a guy massively up into the air, ride him back down, slam him into the floor, and while you’re cart wheeling off him, a huge shockwave from his impact with the floor wipes out everyone else.

5. Describe it in five words or less.
Big Sword, Hot Girl!!

6. If you could sit one person in front of your game for an hour, who would it be?
Wentworth Miller (assuming I was there helping him out of course!)

7. What game do you most want an hour to sit in front of yourself (besides your own)?
Assassin’s Creed – I’ve had my eye on that for a while and can’t wait to play!

8. How many E3’s does E3 2007 mark for you?
I’ve been to ten E3’s. Does that make it E30?

9. Describe the pre-2007 E3 experience in five words or less.
Deafening, intense, fun, booth-babes, mullets.

10. Most over used phrase or expression during E3 season.
“Convergence” and “synergy.”

11. You are asked to make suggestions for an E3 survival kit- what three items HAVE to be included?
Redbull, Nurofen, a chiropodist (see my next answer)

12. What advice would you have for someone who has never experienced E3?
Don’t wear heels over three inches, you’ll regret it by lunch on the first day!

13. What’s your favorite part about developing games for a living?
The best thing about my job is being paid to have some of the most truly bizarre conversations. I can’t tell you how many very serious (and heated) conversations I’ve had about the pros and cons of dismemberment. Also, the word “bollocks” has come up in conversation a lot recently… “Bollocks” is a common term used here in Britain; it’s not a particularly naughty word, and Europe’s fine with it, the ongoing debate is whether or not the word should be present in the game for America? I love my job!

I have high expectations for Heavenly Sword, maybe too high  :shakehead:
But I know for sure I will be getting this title no matter what... becuz its the want for Heavenly Sword why i did buy the PS3 (and i think i mentioned this before numerous times)

Looking forward to Ubi's Haze as well :P
