Ive watched the playstation line of 2008 and the xbox 360 line of 2008 and i have to say if u wanna compare which games are gonna be better id go with the ps3 not because i have one but because most of the good games are multiconsole and xbox360 exclusives that i like are also releasing for pc but Xbox arcade is awesome though.

I played through the campaign in Gears of War three times (2 solo and 1 co/op). In terms of story, it was just ok but the gameplay was superb. I am currently playing the campaign in Resistance. The story is much more interesting than Gears of War. The alternate WWII story is familiar yet different at the same time. The characters are more interesting (like those in Call of Duty games) and the narration is very well done. The action is a lot faster than Gears of War but the cover system is not as good. Long story short, neither one is an imitation of the other.

I thought the same thing from what I played and was shown at E3 last year. However this is not the case. Yes alien invasion but honestly the story in Resistance is so much better.
there is a more in depth explanation for the Chimera, their reasoning, the outbreak and truth is in resistance you feel that the world has really gone to sh!t.
Yes in GoW everything is shot to hell, but large environments are much MUCH more apparent in Resistance coupled with landmarks that have been overtaken or destroyed. You can feel devastation on a larger scale than with GoW.

Not to say anything bad to GoW atall. i love that game, and prefer the campaign to the MP...(one of the very few i know. More of a Halo guy). But still co-op and single....very enjoyable.

I need to play Resistance again. I rushed throught it with a friend. I did find at the time the story felt kinda "Halo-y" especially with the final boss and stage, and the ending, in a way. But still....a great game in its own right by all means.

well, i don't know, i never played resistance, but GoW was a game really worth playing, i think its online multiplayer is superb

But everytime i post now i lost 10 chakra when i posted the TGS vids i lost about 25 chakra they fight so much against being called fanboys but anytime someone says anything good about ps3 thats what happens.

lol, I think it's like the Halo Syndrome but in reverse for the ps3, people who never play it just like bad talking it because either A. Can't afford the console.  B. Go by what other people have said since they want to try to justify why the thing sucks in their own mind.  Like with Halo, a decent bit of Sony fans kept Trash talking it, when I picked it up myself I realized they were all senile.  Playing a system or game for a few minutes can not make you judge everything to come from that one company.  You've got to spend a decent bit of time on them yourself and not just what other people say or the few minutes you spent playing it at the Gamestore/cousin/friend's house.  Basically Don't Bash until you give it an honest try.

Anyone Played the Clive Barker's Jericho Demo yet?  I have to say it's some of the best graphics I've seen on the console.  The Demo was real nice IMO, if they rest of the game is like that we may have the next big franchise.  The Close Quarters Combat is actually really damn nice and satisfying if you get an enemy just right.  The magic bullet one is cool too, now you know how 1 bullet hit JFK 2 separate times like that.

I am a Fanboy yes, I admit it, a Fanboy of ALL GAMES and SYSTEMS, but when there is Bias towards one particular console trying to sell the thing like its the 8th Wonder of the World, that gets a bit annoying and tiring. The reason I focus on 360 so much is because I have a 360, but not ONLY a 360, I also own a Wii, PS2, PSP, GameCube, DS Xbox, and soon a PS3, so biased I am not. When it comes to GAMES, then that is a different story, who doesn't like a great game?? So far from the reviews that I have seen, the PS3 just isn't worth it for me at this point in time especially when there are killer games for the 360 that I can play now. I never said anything bad about the PS3, the reason is because I think it is a great system which I look forward to owning. When someone who has just a PS3 comes on here and starts ranting and raving about how great it is that's when it gets annoying and tiring. Just setting the record straight..I agree, lets all get along and game together..

But when it comes to the games factor where people say it doesn't have good games...
It doesn't feel right...knowing I'm enjoying the games it has....and they're not crap to me...They're really fun....
Therefore I'd defend the system at all costs...naturally and so-called fanboyism... but whatever...thats life...

o and seriously... HEAVENLY SWORD is one dramatic game... those cutscenes like real man...
Voice acting = top notch...
And the close to face cut scene with Nariko at the start sent chills down my spine... I love it

i have a ps3 but i dont bash 360 i even say good things about it when i see it but any time i dare say something good about ps3 all hell breaks loose. Its like u cant call yourself an xbox360 owner unless u bash ps3 lol and only reason i dont have Xbox360 is because i will get pissed if i get rrod.
