Played some Mag beta tonight with another friend. The developer definitely did a good job getting the game running smooth online, never experienced any lag with over a hundred people playing that was pretty impressive. While the graphics aren't the greatest the frame rate is decent. I like the community aspect as well with the various leadership roles available in games. With that said, unfortunately I just didn't have much fun with this game. I dunno why but it just doesn't seem like a game for me, will skip on buying this. Ah well I'm sure there are others who will enjoy the large battles. ...........Back to Bad Company 2 beta for me

I tried it and didn't like it at all...the graphics are what i expected, crappy due to the amount of people the game caters to. I suspected that the game would suffer in that department. I think they tried to do too much and ended up disappointing in the graphics department. Gameplay to me felt a little Resistance-ish, which is not a good thing for me because I hated Resistance Fall of Man...I agree that it runs smootly, but it would have been better if they kept it to maybe squads of 40 per side perhaps to get the graphics up to par. I also acknowledge that it is a Beta and they may improve the graphics but I doubt it to keep the framerate and lag from plaguing the game. I will be skipping this one as well

http://www.destructoid.com/ps3-demand-at-an-all-time-high-during-last-week-156470.phtmlNintendo and Microsoft aren’t the only two platform publishers that can gloat about increased sales during the course of last week. According to a recent statement from Sony released to the press last night, PS3 demand “was at an all time high,” selling around 440,000 units. Neat.“The 2009 holiday season got off to an amazing start for PlayStation,” said Patrick Seybold, senior director of corporate communications and social media, “with all key retailers showing a significant increase for PS3, PSP, and key holiday titles over Black Friday and the holiday weekend.”“PlayStation 3 demand was at an all time high with the system selling more than 440,000 units for the week ending 11/29/09.”Seybold added later, “we [Sony] have no doubt the momentum and demand will continue and consumers will prove that entertainment this holiday season is going to be defined by PlayStation.”We’re not sure about the last bit, but it seems like the sales are something Sony has a right to be pleased with. We certainly are: more sales means more games and more support, which is a win for everyone -- Even you Xbox 360 zealots out there.
