Well when you look at costs local sellers incur it really does add up. Shipping + duties + rent etc would drive the prices up significantly, now if there was a legit seller that could honor the 360 warranty I would not mind the inflated prices one bit :p

I can guarantee, that if Sony were to RAISE the price by $100 US, some of these same 'merchants' would totally not sticketh
in raising their prices.

When I see those prices, I just say 'no scene' and keep it moving.

Got my Batman for PS3 today from Gamestop with the extra Joker missions and the Scarecrow pre order content (didnt even have to preorder) whatever was in the store was what was considered "pre orders".
nice. Will be trying it out later tonight.

Even so, I think it is our job almost to inform our fellow gamers about the best prices.

There are business's out there that charge a "fair" price. Nothing wrong in supporting them. I've bought many consoles locally from JK because their prices always seemed fair and the local warranty/repair is comforting.

There is an unwritten rule, in numerical terms. 10 to 1

If a console costs US$300 abroad, it can sell for up to TT$3000.00  locally and that's fair.

That caters for the exchange rate, vat, duty and profit.

Anything more than that and I'll seriously consider importing to avoid DOE exposure (Dig Out Eye) lol

omg, Blu_Vice, I now feeling your pain.

Logged on a while ago to buy the Fat Princess on my PS3 and out of a ton of friends, only 3 were online. That shakes even my usually optimistic nature.

Let's hope the price drop will see tons more PS3 gamers coming unto the scene and going / staying online.

Sony has got to give gamers some compelling reason to stay online with their next gen console. That's going to be a killer feature for the internet generation.

d xbox ppl were online since d 1st xbox having sweats an thing is only now d ps3 ppl hav this solid online component. remember almost every trini who had a ps2 back in d day didnt go online wit it and had no real way of keepin in touch like a friends list etc.
so in terms of online here in T&T on d PS brand we rel lagging behind.

d ppl who migrating from ps2 to ps3 aint go care about online as much cuz they were accustomed to playing by their selves or splitscreen b4.

so maybe its just that they don't leave the systems connected. Jump on for a session and jump off.
