Oh boy... if it under manufacturer warranty, you can send it back to manufacturer in USA.

Did that with a WD internal drive. Took 3 weeks to get replacement.

(and for some odd reason I keep modifying when I want to quote a post by acident now)

Had it for 2+ years so i highly doubt it have any warranty. What i do have is a brick that was once a hard drive that was 99% full.
