now the rare WTMCs from me:

- Watching Sagicor lose 1-0 to Republic Bank in Bank League on Sunday last. Sagicor had at least 20 chance to score and converted none. and Republic score on out of the 3 or 4 chances for the entire game (and they are at the top of the standings...)


- a fire drill at 4:25pm today. Work ends at 4:30pm. See my company's staff assemble in the Queen's Park Savannah near the US embassy, with middle management in their hard hats, reflective vests and signs

- it seems that Fatima College will not go away from my memories just yet.

Imagine I get a call Tuesday afternoon from the Principal's secretary calling me to as me about form 1 laptops. Three months after I left that awful place. I practically tripped on her, and then proceeded to make angry calls to the Principal and IT Teachers about it.

I even followed up with a  very strongly worded cease and desist letter with is summarized as follows:

- my annoyance at still being called when I am no longer employed there
- explaining to him exactly why I resigned (abuse from a senior teacher, his failure to address matter with names called, cited one meeting where he deliberately prevented me from raising my concerns, also his failure to investigate and who is liable when my laptop was stolen)
- a very strong caution to cease and desist given my lack of confidence in his abilities as Principal.
... all carbon-copied to the relevant top officials in the Ministry of Education

This letter was delivered by hand to Fatima College on Wednesday at 12:40pm during my lunch hour.

At 2:20pm I was called into a meeting by my supervisor. he told me that The Principal called my current employer's HR department and complained about the letter, probably said bad things about me and sent a message stating that I am "no longer welcome on the compound". My supervisor himself was not interested in the issue but warned that i just burned my bridges and be careful how I tread from now on.

GATTers, I really suffered mentally while working there and was so glad to get out and try to move on. But enough is enough. Especially with that piece of nastiness. You filthy priest. How dare you try to muddy my waters! How dare you harass me like this!! Is time to take it to them.

Yes, I probably could have left even this alone and just move on. Yes, pursuing this could actually cost me my current job, and even then they will still try to muddy my waters for some time to come, but in the name of Jesus Christ, enough is ENOUGH!!  

My last name isn't SAXON for nothing.

I think my employers sent a letter to the school inquiring of me just as I started. Then my former tormentor's husband is a big wig in an oil company and knows a couple big wigs where I work. I am certain my tormentor incited the Principal to call me employers. Go figure.

As for never putting that place on my resume, I can certainly do that, but it means I have to spend a good 5 or more years where I am and ensure I give them real quality service.  That should not be hard to do.

Either that or make my own small business a very successful enterprise in this country.

They still have to account for how my laptop was stolen and compensate me for it, else legal action.

But I declare that they will not prosper against me.
