I've basically had the same 'machine' - motherboard, CPU, RAM for TWO YEARS, only changing
my GPU from time to time.  Apparently, EA thinks thats a new 'machine'.  Whooptee-f@#kin-do.

So I had to resort to 'illegal' means to play my legally purchased game, because there's no way
in HELL I'm going 'purchase another registration code'.

I would create a support ticket by EA explaining just that to them. That is utter bull$hit.

1) What happen fete promoters doh request ID card again.
2) What a 15 yr old doing outta she house in the middle of the night, parents doh cater or what
3) With the state of the car i can safely conclude that the guy was driving a bazillion miles per hour. Road fatalities at 8 for the year so far.

1) Since when fete does ask for ID? I'd more expect that from a club.
2) She sneak out of the house, not much a parent can do when they're asleep. Even more difficult to manage when there's only one parent (her dad passed away last year).
3) High speed + smooth tyres + wet roads = only a matter of time.

From what I've been hearing from family members of the deceased, alcohol was not a factor. Tiredness behind the wheel is equally dangerous.

In response to ur response to my post, lol... i respond as follows....
1) Fetes are 18 years and over and where there is age restriction ID card should be requested. Doesn't matter if its a club or not, the concept is the same, its adult oriented and there is alcohol etc.
2) Do u know for sure that she sneaked out the house and she didnt go with her parent's permission. Can u say that with 100% certainty??
3) Had the guy been driving within the speed limit even with if the roads were wet and tires were smooth etc, had he lost control he would've probably ended up in a ditch at worst and not have his car totally crumpled up like foil paper. I mean cmon.... have u seen the condition of the vehicle, the car split in two for crying out loud, its obvious the guy was speeding!! These lives could've been spared if laws were observed.

Please lets not make excuses for lawlessness. My condolences to the friends and family, but things like this could be avoided.

Dude, take a step back, read what I wrote, and tell me where in there was an EXCUSE being made? Nothing in there was an excuse, just answers to your questions.

Yes, I do agree that ID requests should be in effect. Having said that, have YOU ever seen a fete ask for an ID? I haven't...but then I don't fete much. As far as I know, that practice is more the exception than the norm.

I can say that with not 100% certainty, but certainly with much greater certainty than you can derive by your musings, having talked to family members of the deceased young woman. Her mom did not want her to go, so she sneak out of the house later in the evening.

Tell me, where in there was I trying to make an excuse? Anyone who saw images of the accident could tell u in a heartbeat that the car was going way too fast. With that said, having smooth tyres on wet surfaces don't help your situation any. That was the point of my observation. Always a point to make sure critical components, like tyres and brakes, are functioning at proper capacity before taking them on the road.

Also fyi, even being under the speed limit does not always save people...I would know from about this time last year.

Yep...you could be going your merry way, quite within the limit, and pick up a bad skid,
or somebody (read: taxi) give you a bad drive, and then its game over, especially with smooth
tyres.

Imagine this morning...I pull up to the red light (right lane) at Uriah Butler junction heading west,
and a red PCR Hyundai SUV pulls up next to me in the lane to turn north.  Lights all change to green
 -for the turn lane, and my lanes- and this bastard pulls off and CUTS  LEFT ACROSS MY PATH
TO GO STRAIGHT INSTEAD OF TURNING RIGHT!!!   WHAT THE F@#K!!? 

...and he very nearly runs into the opposite median, because he quickly ran out of space.

Now imagine what would have happened if I had speeded up as I normally do.
But the road was wet this morning, so I decided not to, but jus so, I coulda get f@#k up.

Sometimes, trouble blindsides you, straight outta left field.

@SPK, easy...., i understand that u know the family personally, and my condolences to them. I was just making the point that observing laws and enforcing them can help to save lives, NO not always, but most times and I believe it may have in this case.
