Yes...that's a COCKROACH right in the soup a co-worker bought folks. This photo was taken not 30 minutes ago. When they were confronted about the unwelcome not to mention completely gross uninvited guest, they said that they had no idea how that happened as "de pot was close and them eh know nothing bout that"

This was bought in an establishment called Samo's on Abercromby St, Port of Spain, very very close to his cousin Pancho's around the corner which in turn is directly opposite NALIS building. So men who like to frequent them place (yes i'm watching at YOU, Arcman), relax and take notes.

Do you REALLY want to take a chance to buy from there knowing what you know now? From the very looks of the place, I wouldnt have touched there with a ten foot pole.

WTMC!! @ my tax refund check being stolen and apparently cashed by someone obviously committing Identity Fraud....I am so pissed off...F$%^!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I spoke with the IRS...had to fill out a form so they can trace, who knows when I'll see my $3500 US fricking dollars...People are scum...Sickening..

Funny thing is I suspect it is someone in my building...I live in an apartment building...there is ONE US postal service employee that fills the individual mailboxes on a daily basis..now there have been mistakes in the past, where other people's mail has ended up in my mailbox, BUT I always make sure to put the wrong mail aside so that people can get their mail..

Obviously this is what happened and instead of doing the "right" thing and returning the Gov't issued cheque to the correct person whose name is clearly printed and whose address and apt. # is clearly and neatly printed with Gov't ink on the front of the cheque showing through the envelope's window which is cleary identified as being from the US Internal Revenue Service, those F%^$ing A$$holes decided to forge ID so they can cash MY hard earned refund....

I really have a bad mind to place a notice in the Building Lobby pointing out the Thievery that has occured in what is supposed to be a respectable building of you would hope "HONEST" hard working people...

Well red, the one thing I can say is at least in the US you have a decent chance of hunting the perpertrator down... if that was T&T... dread... btw, WHEN they catch whoever it is (baring its a struggling single mother who only stole it because her baby daddy beats her up and steals her money to pay for hoes and booze, etc)... yeah other than something like that NAIL THEY @$$ TO THE WALL to the FULLEST EXTENT of the LAW... maybe even find out if they can be extradited to FL where the death penalty is enforced XD

Damn, somebody was wukkin HARD for tha cheque yes. Doh study it. The IRS will have your back on this one.
They had to go to some financial institution to cash it right? The trace will show 'where' and 'when'. Simple matter
for them to work out the 'who'.

If its one thing, state agencies in the US a LOT more competent when it comes to tracking down fraud like that.
It might take a lil while, but I'm sure you'll get to the bottom of whodunnit.

Will you get the money back though?

Well the nice IRS rep on the phone told me that the form that I sign will be used to compare to the signature on the back of the cheque that was cashed. Which tells me that they intend on tracking down where the check was cashed and who in particular cashed it. I have a feeling that they did it at one of those cheque cashing outlets, as a bank would be more stringent on ID and proving who you are before opening an account and withdrawing the money.

She also told me that it might take some time, but after the trace is complete they will issue a new cheque...but who knows when that will be...

The reason I know it was cashed is from what she told me...my cheque was mailed to me on March 20th....after 6 weeks, if that cheque is not cashed they automatically send another one voiding the first. Since its been MORE than that time, its obvious that someone ran with my money
