I don't expect anything huge to happen, because if you did enough reading on it you'd see that only a small fraction of the particles actually collide, and even then an even smaller number of particle collisions actually result in a reaction.

What does vex me to too is that these companies insist you must have a degree where A+, Net+ and MCSA could more then cover the tasks required.

Actually sax, companies realizing that certifications thing biting them in their own backside. So what some of them do is check out where you stand and educate you to suit. They pay for all your education and you work with the company for a certain length of time of till you pay them back

You also have competency based interviews where you need to have the qualifications, interview skills AND actual skills to get the wok. This is where the public service is, well at least where out ministry is.

Yuh see there is one thing I wanted to say, but I will jus remain quiet and keep that tidbit on info to mehself. All I wanna know was what was his problem, then I would have answered to suit.

Yes I am a fackin noob, I may not be certified, but I have work experience. I sure there are other fellahs that are either the same level as him or even higher, but they cool as a cucumber and down to earth. *sigh* I guess for the balance or normal people on the earth there has a to be a balance of @$$wholes.

wtmc at that thread. There has been a very good display of tech knowledge there and I like that. But there is also a heap of ignorance spewing from that thread. Sorry to say that some of that ignorance came from you Crix. I was VERY disappointed to see you act like that. I had to check twice to make sure that it was really you who made some of those posts. Frankly, you've lost some stripes in my book.

Bad capacitors would indeed cause the system to reboot while on the loading screen. I have seen it many times with my own eyes. Sometimes the system may even start but be unstable. I've even fully reformatted a system and have it cut off during boot right after only to realize that it has leaky caps.

A system that cuts off during boot time can have a variety of problems. Sometimes it may give a brief blue screen which could indicate memory failure or corrupted file system. In some cases, overheating cpu due to non functioning cpu fan can be the culprit. The first and easiest thing would be to first run chk disk command from the recovery console. If that runs fine and fixes errors (if any) then its on to hardware problems. It would be helpful to use the dos version of memtest or just swap out the memory. If all seems to be well hardware wise, THEN a format can be done after backups are made etc.

I mean, I didnt go to any school to teach me this stuff, but as the old people say, experience is the greatest teacher.

Just a side note. I HATE people who feel they are tech gurus and blankly dismiss things. I HATE people who have the attitude that they know everything and that they are the be all and end all of tech. As pablo said, REAL technically skilled people DO NOT go on forums and act like those guys did on tuner. Those are the fronters and can be easily spotted.
