WTMC! when for the past week my Cable, Internet and Phone have been crap, lost signals, no signal, missing channels, no phone...

WTMC! when I come home today and the Cable, internet and Phone working, and the cable guy is scheduled to be here tomorrow to check into the problem that I have been having for the past week....Ran Speedtest.net and got the result below VVVV O_o This is the fastest its ever run....

WTMC @ COD 4 I lost ALLL my stats and Profiles i just got to Brigadier General 2 and now........nothing not a single profile like i never started the game all the settings graphics sound every thing went to default.....SADD Any one know WhatTheMacaroniCallaloo going on here?

-Having to toally convince a Nigerian national from closing down his net cafe after being ripped off by trini "technicians"

It all started when he came originall to buy printer ink from where I work. Out of curiosity he asked if I can fix computers and do a bit of networking, to which I confirmed i can do. He asked me to check him after work so I can diagnose the problem and get his cafe up and running.

I finally reached his net cafe and assesed the situation.

-6 fully working PCs (AM2 dual core CPUs) w/ LCD screens
-Basic computer network for 6 users and 1 administrator (7 PCs in all)

Now here is where the problem starts:
-They used an OLD networking switch for broadband internet (flow)
-The antivirus they used (AVG, Avast, NOD32 etc)
-Extremley poor after sale support
-The initial cost of everything (A contract was made out for a fixed 5 figure sum for everything and they charged him extra to do up the "networking" even though it was already stated int he contract)

Now at this point, he was at the stage where he wanted to sell of his PCs and close down that aspect of his business (he has another business that he's running). I convinced him that I would take care of the problem and even persuaded him not to give up hope in the net cafe business.

So, I re-formatted all six of his PCs because of their poor performace, provided him with a proper broadband router, configured his modem to work with the router and then added each of the six PCs so that all can access the internet. The expression on his face when he saw all six machines fully re-formatted and online was most deffinately priceless. Think of a little kid now getting a bicycle for christmas.

I also took the time to get all the software necessary for an internet cafe (Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer & Mozilla Firefox, MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Skype, Google Talk etc etc). The last phase of the internet cafe project is for games and a cyber cafe management system. Gonna use Cyber Cafe Pro 5 and set up the main Pc as the sever and configure all six PCs. I await the oppertunity I get to return to the cafe to complete that phase.

Now.....to the sorry excuse for a PC technician and jerk that took advantage of a person who is nota national of trinidad (yes that's you Marlon of Ba***nt Computers) I hope the fleas of 1,000,000 camels infest your crotch and your arms shrink so that you cannot reach!
