When my boss comes in this morning asking me to de-activate the server access of another employee because he is "letting him go" today... O_O

Only to come back to me later on to ask me to re-connect him so that he can finish up some work before he leaves...

Policeman in court on $400 bribery charge
Tuesday, December 4th 2007

   

"A police constable with sixteen years' service appeared before Port of Spain Magistrate Ejenny Espinet yesterday charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Dave Hospedales, 42, who is attached to the Tunapuna Police Station, appeared in the Port of Spain First Magistrate's Court charged with corruptly receiving $400 from Tunaram Maharaj on December 1, to forebear the prosecution of a report of a road traffic accident which occurred on November 25, 2007, on the Eastern Main Road.

Hospedales was charged on Saturday afternoon and granted $70,000 bail by a Justice of the Peace.

Espinet transferred the matter to the Tunapuna Magistrates' Court and adjourned it to January 4.
