hmmm while liming with CMR tonight was good, i do have a few rants:

- WTMC when I now reach: no lilith, no CMR, no daniboy, etc.. can't reach any of them initially

- when getting a ride to St James from CMR, encountering a road block by Ambasador hotel, seeing a guy that decidea he will U-turn out of road block in front of the hotel, only for a soldier to appear literally out of the darkness/bushes, walk across our car, cross the road, and stop driver with gun cocked!! Is only then we notice the 2nd solder camouflaged in the shade across the road that flank the driver's back!!

- and now for the real piss-me-off-er (this probably needed a NEO-style rant):
Imagine I'm in J Malone's with CMR and his peeps, none of them appear over 19, so I am obviously the oldest. 6 of us in all. Because I reached late, I end up ordering for myself. Fried chicken wings... yummy!

While I'm eating and chatting this dude who CMR seems to know comes in,he talks to CMR briefly and start to watch me as if he want to dip in my plate without asking. I watch him incredulously with his cigarette in his hand.. he say something about the food to which I reply to who I though were his friends that he ent know my policy ("I'll quicker beat a man for taking my food than taking my woman")

and then it came:

"You rich." with a condescending look...

I nearly had to get up out of my chair.

I still doh believe that a f****** little boy watching a big man with scorn. People, I ent even groom properly. Face unshaven for a month, the obvious thinning of hair on my head. I barely even remembered to comb my hair, fuss I does move with a scruffy look.

No manners (no "good night", no "wuz de scene"), no respect, no nothing... a boy, who NEVER see me before and I never see before, watch a hard-back, hard-working, company owning nigga and telling him he is a rich lil boy?!?!? WTF??? What The Damn Motha F******* C***!!!

There is a reason why I does hold back so much from acts of ignorance, else I'd have got up,tripped him, banged his head on table/ground, spit in his face/mouth, burnt him with his own cigarette and gotten myself kicked out the place on my first visit... I was even tempted to find his @$$ in Woodford Cafe next door and politely shown him my ID card showing my true age and let him know how disrespectful he was to his elders and how easy he could have gotten beat down tonight...

I so sorry my steel-tip boots home drying. Looks like I'll be wearing them to social gatherings from now on. On top of that I think I have finally gotten my incentive to get buffed in gym... I'm going to need the extra muscle strength because like I can't seem to avoid these stupid confrontations for much longer. One day, I'm going to get physical.

After he left I get to find out he is not really liked by CMR or the other persons there... I guess he was a 'bad boy' in Fatima College... he would have quickly learned 'mad man' tonight.

THAT SOLIDIER WOW I'm driving rolling the car forward all of a sudden this solidier just moves across the front of the car an flags down the car that was trying to U turn AT GUN POINT and ITS A BIG ASS GUN M16 with extra clips tape on.......... We knew it was road block but we never knew army was there and all that......They just under the trees normal in the shadows.......NINJA MATRIX MOVEMENTS BREATHLESS
I have a whole new level of respect for them now.

How does that make or even indicate that Trinidad and Tobago a police state? You don't -ever-....EVER... turn out of a roadblock under any circumstance because you're bound to become suspect of illegal activities. It only stands to reason that someone would think such a thing following the actions of that driver and this is nothing that doesn't happen anywhere else in similar exercises. Frankly, I think you're being ridiculous. How does the capabilities of the gun change the actuality of the situation?

What has this country come to? I'll be honest. I don't f**king know what this country has come to...but address the escalating crime rates, the far less than efficient policing (and impotent judiciary and legislating bodies) and the corrupt capitalists of this society rather than being so melodramatic about one man who was just doing his job.
