This ends here and now.
Religious debates like this cause trouble, and I'm telling everybody right now to cool it and move on.

My two cents on the matter though (and it's not a religious standpoint, just an opinion on my part), I really don't see what could motivate people to take it upon themselves to just kill somebody just because of a difference in religion. Am I really expected to believe that the same people who consistently cry out that they're being discriminated against turn around and do the same, to one of their own, to boot?

To me, all people have the right to make their decisions in life, and it's up to society, as civilised as we are (SUPPOSED to be), to guide that person accordingly. You certainly don't do it by bashing the bejesus out of people like that, and for reasons such as those. But, then again, their culture and beliefs, not mine. I just happen to think that it's simply not right to threaten to kill your own daughter, attempt to tempt her back with a forgiveness coated lie, and then turn around and brutally slaughter her in such a humiliating way. Even from a religious standpoint, that's not remotely right, because you've become a murderer and a liar in one fell swoop. Oops.

Anyhoo, that's just my two cents on the matter. Kindly keep it civil, folks, or drop this matter entirely if you can't.

- when I buy 2 replacement hard drives, a 160GB Seagate and a Hitachi 250GB. When i install drive and about to hook up connectors, I discover to my horror

The MC Hitachi drive HAVE THE SAME DUAL POWER CONNECTORS (IDE and SATA) AS THE ONE I FRIED!!

Well yuh know I find tape ONE TIME to tape over the SATA power connector ! No WAY I gonna make THAT mistake again!!

I hope that's not just any arbitrary tape... cause HDs get particularly hot... doh wanna see smoke bellowing out ur case again... this time not because of doing something silly like connecting 2 power connectors simultaneously and its not a video card... O_O

Yep, they do. Right now a sata drive in my system (120GB) running just fine at 60 deg C.
Not showin any ill effects, but just the same, is level backup ihmc.

$HITTE!!! the only time i ever saw those temps was in a 5 year old presario laptop running a Norton scan - and it was only 48~52C

take a system i use now:
at the hottest time of the day, i see 35C (42C during load)
at night it goes down to 28C

my hard drives don't cross 45C at ANY time with my 120mm fan blowing directly on all 3 of them; they usually stay Just around 39C. In the middle of night with fan at max rpm, they're as low as 34C.

When u have a big interview on wensday and u scared as hell.
When my dad jus give me one LONG speach about how i small(so what i cant help it if i small!), nobody wants to here about animals, and all the things that he considers to be by bad points and tries to make me feel as small as possible. THEN my mother joins in and there both go on and ON about any fault they could come up with at the moment!

Now i more nerveous than ever!!

Oh well back to studing maths and playing pokemon diamond
