This is a thread where you can post all games you are currently playing. Feel free to give opinions on gameplay, story, controls, graphics, etc. to give others an idea of how the game is. Please refrain from posting story spoilers as most people, myself included, look forward to the story in many games.
I am currently playing the following:
Advance Wars: Dual Strike for DS - I tend to enjoy strategy games and this one is no exception. The touch screen with stylus is perfect for this type of game and it controls easily. The graphics are good and the sound effects are ok. The gameplay seems to be really intense for a turn-based game and I can see myself playing this game for months. So far, I am only on mission 12 because I tend to play more console games but I am trying to start a habit of playing a mission every night.
Jak II for PS2 - I just started this game 2 days ago and so far it seems really good. The graphics are very bright and colorful and the controls are smooth as silk. The sound is well done and the voice acting is quite good. It does seem very much influenced by GTA which in some cases would be a bad thing. This game, though, seems like a worthy successor to the first one, so far. Plus, Jak talks and he is pissed off (good).
Need for Speed: Underground for Xbox - I must say that until Hot Pursuit 2, the NFS series was by far my favorite racing series with Gran Turismo a close second. Then, they decided to go the Fast and Furious route with Underground. I always enjoyed the idea of racing exotics, especially with police pursuit. It is the kind of thing that gaming to me was always about: stuff you would normally never do in real life. I thought they were going away from that with Underground and it would not bee a good thing. Anyway, so I eventually got Underground and it has gradually won me over. The graphics live up to the NFS heritage and the motion blur when you use NOS is something special. Control is smooth and since I have a wheel, it is even better. The sound is really nice on Xbox with Dolby Digital. You really feel like you are going that fast. Of course, the big difference is the customization which was a new thing for the series at this point. Before, you could just change your car color and now ... well, the sky is the limit. True story: I played for 2 hours straight yesterday trying to pass a couple levels around 80-something. After playing, my side felt sore as if I pulled something. I don't think I ever had anything like that happen because of a game.
Rollercoaster Tycoon for PC - I have had the original for a few years and I am finally giving it some time. The game is really addictive. The graphics are a little old by today's standards but they are good IMHO. The sound effects are ok and give a nice feel of an amusement park. The gameplay is what will grab you, though. There is just something about this type of game that keeps you coming back and once you start a level, time just flies. You just never have enough handymen.

Kaguya, why Age 1 and not 2? I prefer 2 but that's probably cause I like saying trebuchet and chu-ko-nu.

heh, nothing against age 2, its just the nostalgia, and with the reliability and speed of TSTT, we didnt bither to try and run a game that may actually need a decnt connection. The players we have live a good way from each other...I in trincity, 1 man in barataria, 1 in curepe, 1 in san juan, and 1 in bamboo...so we just stick wid dis...plus i like dis 1 better dan 2..lol

GTA: Liberty City Stories for the PSP.
Keeps me entertained on those loooong drives to work every morning (but DAMN, do those potholes in the road tick me off whenever I do a racing mission).

I"m behind on games...but...
Starwars Battlefront II: 30% complete...
I love this game...but sheyat, it's REAL hard at points. I'm currently attacking the Jedi Temple...stupid lightsabers....
Need for Speed Most Wanted: only about 55% through (I'm racing v/s #4 on BL).
I like this game quite a bit as well. I mean, it's not at all realistic, but the vehicle customization is quite enjoyable. Right now, I'm driving the Lambo from the dude that had it at number 6ish...
Battlefield II: Love the game, BUT, they really missed the boat not making a campaign inside the game. Sure, it's really made for Sweats...but, what the heck...sometimes you just don't wanna play against a person...you wanna blow up some lame AI'ers.
