Nex gen star wars video. EA is 'supposedly' going to bring out a new star wars game on the 360 and the ps3. From the looks of this video, if it is anything like this....an early upgrade to next gen is totally worth it!

KOTOR III or JEDI knight III.. i recognize some of the storm trooper models ,the shoulder patch looks like one from jedi knight II.. so it might be a sequal....
it looking.. REAL BAD!!!.. but i will cuss if it don't come out for PC!!! CUSS!!

I dont know how in hells name you call can think it is anything or even know its timeline after only watching that vid. (hack and slash, KOTOR or whatever) All i seeing is physics and it looking very mad.

That looked fantastic, but also pre-rendered. I am not saying it could not be an indication of a next gen game, I am merely pointing out that based on the camera angles and the smooth transition of moves, it seems like in game cut movies at best. We can all hope for such quality and capabilities but I wouldn't hold my breath for that being the game engine in use.

well we CAN guess at the time lime by the fact that those are republic commandoes attaking jedi knights.
So yes most likely right after ep 3.

The force moves are magnificient, some of them are straight from the books and others are new.

Yeah the last action scene looked pre rendered, throwing a commando and an debris at an x wing and then force leaping out the way.

No saber duels shown, so that part may be a hack and slash, with a multiplayer dueling option
AND IT BETTER BE FOR PC AS WELLL!!!!!

my mistake with the x wing, i meant tossing debris at the TIE fighter, which is of course very imperial.
Infact this is almost ridiculously easy to guess at the time line.

IN the new jedi order, the imperials are a part of the new galactic alliance and thus the tie fighters are on the side of the jedi, so would not be attacking them.

two, the jedi knights shown in the vids all look like they came from clone wars era, the new jedi order knights are dressed differently and well, there are very few humanoid knights left, most of them being lukes family and han and leias family and a few scattered others.

But most notable is the fact that the storm troopers looked like they were hunting and not just guarding, so they were most likely hunting the jedi.

*sigh* this makes me think of that scene in ep3 when that padawan rushed in to save senator organa from the clones and proceeded to conduct atleast 6 or 7 of them before he was taken down.

Id love to know the name of that jedi, he was most talented.

There was a long period after the establishment of the New republic by the rebels where the empire was hostile , even while Luke re established the jedi order and trained more jedi ... So it could be in the period before the original movies OR after...
Its the same general time period that Jedi Knight was set in... Definately not KOTOR to have tie fighters ( i now realise that) .

Yes i know that Tusken Raider. He was a Jedi before leaving the Academy and joining the Sandpeople. He had a son whom he was training in the desert. After the death of QUi Gon, Ki Adi Mundi went to recruit him. The Hutts launched an attack on the Sandpeople and pwned that Jedi, his son then became Ki Adi's apprentice. Jedi Outcast comics.

Favorite jedis for me know are possibly the son and daughter of Han and Leia. Jacen and Jaina just win win win. Yea Jaina hot

from reading the books i could tell she was hot but damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn jaina is omgwtfbbqsauce hot!! damn damn damn!

jacen is a serious man doh, reading unifying force, he have real ability, could one day surpass luke.

i liked kit fisto alot. iam an absolute anakin whore (skywalker not solo)

and a few others i was fond of, including barris offee and aayla secura
she was omggggggggggg wtfffff hott!! remember in ep3 when the troopers were carrying out order 66, there was a blue jedi amongst a platoon and they killed her, that was her, aayla secura, she was just tooooo hott!!!

I was really sad to see barriss die*pouts* and kit, he was so cool

Jedi Outcast and Academy i thought were great. Academy i REALLY liked. You check how the Sith had their stance with the dual swords? MADNESS. Would kinda cross their arms over their chest and have the 2 blades pointing down. Boss idea.

I downloaded the footage off youtube ages ago. Might drop it off by shizz later. This is defintely pre rendered no doubt about it. Anybody here plays jedi academy mp? Or battlefront 2? or even self empire at war. This thread makes feel feel star wars fan boyish...(currently pullin over 8 gigs of star wars comics...
