I find the X-Boy looking a bit...awkward, though. Colour scheme's a bit fugly, too.

MS pushin a handheld idea, yeh....Origami project
but thas old news .....and is more like a PDA on steroids than a gaming platform ( wha they callin it? Ultra Mobile PC?)


 i always wary of these 'killer' devices that have no clear goal..  Ipod killer, with a shoddy music interface, DS/GBA killer with no games, 
 movie player with a proprietary media format..   

so many ways to screw the pooch on this .... the handheld arena is littered with many contenders.. lynx, game gear, wonderswan , and lately , gizmondo

D'OH!

I should've realised. The screen's not properly aligned with the controller. Now that everybody's mentioned it, it does look like a stretched out 360 control.

While I'm ever so willing to declare bulls**t on this whole thing, a Google search is turning up some results on the X-Boy, and there is an article in the Seattle Times by a Brier about it. For all we know, it could be a first look at the concept, with an artist's rendering (or parody) of the talked about system.

Too soon to tell, really.
