Well, I'm over that, and here are some new details on the 'zero-G' combat you may have heard about.

Still, this game is shaping up to be a real winner.  Best FPS ever.....?

Here are two tech demos made using Crytek's 'CRYENGINE2' game engine.

'Real-time' video rendering.

'Winter' gameplay from the game itself...

...and here is a short multiplayer gameplay video.

Yes, my fellow owners of 'bess' PCs, today is a great day, for this is the day the people (gods?)
of Crytek unleash the Crysis demo upon the Earth, to smite all unworthy PCs before it.

Judging by this countdown, we shall witness 'world domination' (internet implosion? )
at approximately 1900 hrs local (7 pm n00bs, c'mon keep up).

...and now we wait.....

EDIT!!!

It seems that the countdown has been adjusted AGAIN.  When I left home for work at 5 am this morning, the countdown was pegged at
14 hrs remaining, which would have meant availability at 7 pm local.  Apparently EA, in their 'infinite wisdom' have created yet another
reason for people to hate them with a brewing pre-order fiasco.  People who preordered the game through EA's online store were supposed to have
access to the demo from the 25th, but it seems this was not the case, so there are now a LOT of angry customers out there, who apparently
paid MORE for the game from EA's store than they would have at other sites/stores.

So now it seems that the demo has been pushed back another day again, to the 27th, at 8am local (12pm GMT).

Way to go EA.     :shakehead: (steuuupppsssss)
