I feel bad for England.... no Beckham or Rooney for the PK shootout...I am sure they'd have influenced the outcome of that shootout..if not at least more of their kickers scoring their penalies

I only got to see the penalty shootout but portugal keeper looked good... i ent know what to say about england pk takers otherwise except that they dissapointed...

Edit: For Brazil/France game what is UP with Ronaldo and wearing this  "R" headband??

i manage to get this in before the fanatical rants for Brazil or France...

FINAL score France 1 - 0 Brazil

That goal by France was clinical. Excellent.

Freekick was brought in.. The Brazil defence try to play it for offside. To me it look like they didn't get it right. From the replay I see SIXBrazilian defenders just standing there as the goal scored.

In any case absolutely NOBODY detected Henri running last post. Dida didn't see him coming until Henri done smash the ball into the roof from about 4 yards.

It was the frist real lapse in defence for Brazil.. and it was a critical one.

but the goal brought the game to life... was much more open than the first half.

but in the 90th minute: such end-to end action!!! huge dead-stop save by Dida!!! and Barthez parrying seconds later...

but it looks like we will see new world cup champions this year...

but is the most enjoyable game i seen all weekend!!!

THe difference between ROnaldinho and Zidane is consistencey, which comes with age. But one man alone doesnt win a game, its the team....and Brasil was never really playing as a team. Zidane and Ronaldinho never went at it, so you cant say that. You can say Zidane MANNERS Brasil midfield...because he walk all over them.
