Yea, fellas I in kinda a rut. I moved recently, and cause of that had to go with out internet for a few weeks well... now I have it back (only crappy dial up thus far) and I've just fell out of all my old routines... just lost all will to post on all my old fourms...well I cant start back downloading weekly anime just yet...but yea..

This ever happen to any of you, and what you do about it?

yeah, I know what you mean.

Switched from EVDO 200K down to DSL 32K for a few days. Started to suffer withdrawal symptoms.

My download Que, which previously said "12 hours to complete" started estimating 4 days for completion. Thing to cry for.

Promptly hooked back up the EVDO.

Would probably commit seppuku if downgraded to dial up.

anyhow just last year september i mvoed :S into a new house ..but i always had 56k XD only recently got dsl and @ posting on old forums post on the ons ur accustom to man

Posting on the forums using dial up will be quite a chore.

Especially with 1MB animated sigs floating around.

That is gonna take forever to load.

PS...if you are wondering what EVDO is Kaizen you deserve to be shot. We ranted and raved about EVDO all over the forums.

Yea.... EVDO is like the redlabel of scotch(cant remeber which is better, red or blue...and its not like i can wikipedia it...fugdein dial up)...and that itself may not be a proper enough description... I really am considering getting it...but its kinda too pricey... and I dont mind dropping out of school and getting a job just to pay for EVDO, lol.

Baego fiah for Kaizen being shot, Proto need to be put down like a old, dying pothound. Okay a bit harsh I jes giving yuh some flak (no real meaning behind in case yuh does get easily offended). Dread Red would only be higher than BLUE if it's NOT Johnny Walker yuh talking bout. Lemme give you the order of rank in the JW world:
In LAST PLACE is RED 10yrs <-- I think
Then BLACK 12yrs
Then GREEN (pure malt, dis is the REAL sweet spot if yuh ask me) 15yrs
GOLD
JW Oldest (if you can still find this)
HIGHEST RANK BLUE

So yeah, at least yuh know there is a BLUE so yuh not TOO badly off. That aside allyuh men real GLAD, I have dial up home and broadband at work... so I go from alive and well to slow and barely alive everyday.... I doh even want to think about having EV-DO... although in CA I was trudding along at 3Mbps down ad 768kbps up

but hey not having broadband is not SUCH a bad thing, yuh have more time to do other stuff like exercise, eat, bathe, yuh know stuff yuh otherwise might forget if yuh had such bandwidth at your disposal LOL.

Wow...ok yea, well see red and blue are like the least seen, so i figured that those two atleast...one of the other has to be the highest ranking.... :-/

And to be honest, internet is internet, and im greatful for it either way... I could remember driving arround looking for an internet cafe with the highest bandwidth....then i realised how sad that was, and I needed to stop...

you may have to download the pdf for details... but i believe that it was about 375.00 a month with the device free providing you take the 3 year plan

Yea, the base line for it is about 500. I have a question about that though...can you like get third party EVDO recivers and just configer it to tstt?

Short answer: no.

Long answer: They have locked down their EVDO network using proprietary devices. If you want the service you HAVE to get a device (PCMCIA or RJ-45 terminated) from TSTT, already configured with your account info.

I see....oh well, it was worth a try. And no....I was the one who throught if you 'played arround' with the big box of tstt wires you could uncap your bandwidth....that was just pure curosity, didnt expect much from it...

This just happen to me....kinda. I went to trini for 2 weeks, rain fall, water in the lines, DSL down.....so no internet. Reach back in Florida and i back on Cable Modem....

Personally just ease back into it. I kinda went thru a transformation over the 2 weeks. Read a very decent book on MMORPG's and the Business and Cultures involved and it got me thinking...so you may not see me ranting and raving over SONY and MS and PC and la de da as much.....
okay watever.....Proto take it piece by piece....lots of reading on forums to catchup on...so start there.
