OK, here's the deal after I saw the movie last night...

OMG!!! It is definitely worth waiting to see that scene after the credits!

Don't want to give away any spoilers, but IMO, the movie will satisfy some fans, and leave others wondering, WTF!?!?

The guys at GAT THQ made a big lime down MovieTowne for this and waited till the credits were over for that scene.

Worth it, most definitely.

I see they mentioned COD 2 in the credits. Not sure what Call of Duty had to do with X Men, but I'll google that sometime when bored.

ALthough X2 didnt have the whole Wolverine story, it was primarily focused on him. Hollywood not going to do another XMEN movie on Wolverine again, as far as they are concerned its been done in X2.
I would imagine X4, if they make one, will be the return of Xavier. Im hoping to see Dark Phoenix, but i doubt, it will possibly be the return of Maneto, Rouge probably fallout with Iceman and go do she theif work where she kill Miss Marvel and get her superpowers, i dunno how they going to give her back her aother abilities though.

Alyuh doh fine Paquin teeth kinda wierd? She hot otherwise though.

I don't know about you, but Cyclops died like a freaking PACO in the movie.

Now, while we're on the subject, some people are theorizing that the people 'killed' by the Dark Phoenix aren't actually dead at all....they were banished to the astral plane. It -would- be a convenient way to bring back Cyclops and Professor Xavier (and Psylocke, if Hollywood agrees to give her a bigger part this time.) On the other hand, it's pretty much a wild theory, seeing as how Wolverine was clearly taking damage from the disintegration while approaching Jean. Sequelitis you say?! Maybe........

I enjoyed the movie, personally. Canon-wise, it's not all that great, considering that the movie got a few key things WRONG (especially with Juggernaut, with his cockneyed-British accent, his lack of connection with Xavier, and THE FACT THAT HE'S A MUTANT IN THE MOVIE.) Still, it fell into place with me, because I usually don't expect movies based on comics to fit canon anyway.

Now, on the Wolverine movie topic.....it seems to me that this whoooole movie was about him. He almost brushed off on me as the Neo of it...the 'one who can save us all'. Nice to see that Storm got a bigger part this time around, but maybe it was too much time. They might as well have called it 'X-Men 3: The Wolverine and Storm take over the whole freaking movie show!'

Kitty....should not by vying with Rogue for Iceman.

I was thinking that this was a good time for the movie to pay homage to the comics by bringing them together, but noooooo. Far be it from us to do something that would make the characters RELEVANT.
Ho, ho, ho. Speaking of which, anybody know just WHERE in the blue ballzacks did Colossus come from? And how he evolved into a key player for the X-Men? I swear, he turned from cheap cameo in X2 to supporting cast member overnight. At least they did the Fastball Special. Gleeeeeee.

One thing that totally redeemed it for me. Mystique. On the floor. NAKED.

The girls were pretty hot, I must say. Anna is still the secksy, though that girl who played Kitty can polish this Outlaw's pistols anytime she pleases-ahem. Sadly, I still don't find Halle Berry any more attractive (BIG surprise) but I do have some more respect for her now. Jean with long hair = WIN, short hair = LOSE. Psylocke needed more screen time, yes, but that doesn't make her any less sexy.

I know she was only on the screen for two seconds.
And NO, I WASN'T LOOKING FOR ANY 'NIP SLIPS' IN THOSE TWO SECONDS.

Now, as for the COD2 reference, I believe that Leech was playing it in his room. I could be mistaken, seeing as how it's an X-Box 360. Did COD2 come out for that? I think so.....

While I thought x3 was a failure for the most part , there were some high points for me. For one I LOVED the piece of music that played during the "battle" between Jean and the Professor (which I thought was the best part of the movie). I just thought it conveyed the message well, also the different version of morealess the same theme was used during the Jean & Logan sequence at the end. In the end I was vex that I spent 50$ in snacks @ cc8 to watch X3 worse yet I didn't even see the Superman trailer in all it's glory, they showed the 6 month old TEASER!!! then I walked outside and saw the trailer playing on those little tvs and the arcade was closed....dammit. At least I can sleep well knowing Superman Returns ain't gonna suck like X3.

To each his own, my friend. Halle's attractive to a lot of people, this I know, but I'm not really one of them. I do, however, have more respect for her as an actress, because she gave a decent performance as Storm in the movie.

In the movie, though, I pretty much doubt that the actress was anything but 18, especially with the scenario she was placed in (namely, the relationship with Iceman, who's clearly 18-ish), which would undoubtedly cause a buttload of controversy. Besides which, she doesn't even look 13. Maybe 17, for the very least, but certainly not 13.
