So far, I dig the digital cable. I live in Curepe. The sound quality is noticibly different. The channel selection is adequate (until you start having to play for the movie channels). In my opinion though, the digital music channels are a waste. SURE, there's a good selection of stuff...but how often do you use your TV to just listen to music? The channel guide is nice though. It doesn't open up the guide over top of what you are watching (like Direct TV), but instead shrinks what you are viewing to the upper right hand corner. This is a nice thought. I have noticed that the guide is often wrong (much the same way the paper is), and I do find that inexcusable. The pre-programming to up to 24 reminders is nice as well. It also has an alarm and all that. Up until I got the digital cable box, I was also getting a lot of fuzz from time to time, and sound bleed over on some of the channels...that has been eliminated. Unfortunately, also eliminated was the digital clock on the box (it's not a box anymore, it looks more like a router).
All in all, I'd say it is a marketable improvement, and I can't wait to get the cable DSL.

I've got the skinny on the prices....from a phone call I received yesterday...They started off by offering the 20 hours plan, I stopped her before she even got to the actual amounts...as that's real lame anyway.....
Pricing for unlimited usage is as follows:
512 down, 128 up = 390.99
1m down, 256 up = 689.99
2m down, 512 up = 1149.99
MODEM costs $460
Installation is $115

Weak upload speeds though... and has anyone confirmed if they are still using Vsat/wireless links OFF T&T? cause last I checked only TSTT has terrestrial links off this island and thus even with higher bandwidths, the latency will be HORRIBLE for online gaming....

I spoke with them about this about a month ago...they confirmed that they are using satlinks, but are "developing and installing the landlines" and hope to have the new backbone ready for next year....I don't see how that's possible.....but....mmmmmkay.

If anyone happens to get this service, please post some impressions of it in terms of online gaming. I am using Green Dot right now (TSTT not offering DSL in the area) and would not mind switching for something I can game online with.

Flow won't be the ISP for gamers to use , but its still a good thing! TSTT will finally provide more bandwidth to DSL customers , and as i see they digging up the road like mad, installing new infrastructure to expand and combat flow . We finally have proper competition and sooner or later we'll get better service .

Not after I checked out their prices. Is EVDO comparable to DSL for gaming?

I concur....
I sure you will have to sign an "acceptable usage policy " agreement for not exceeding a certain amount of GB per month..or doing excessive downloading, P2P, etc.
Last thing you need is having your connection cut off because Columbus getting complaints from ppl in your area that they can't get internet and they trace it to you downloading DVD-sized ISO files...
DSL for online gaming ftw...
