lol @ memories of TMNT...those were the days...I remember when me and my neighbours used to pong that game nonstop, and there was one person who was a serious Turtles fanatic...down to the way he walked was like Raphael, hands positioned like if he was holding a pair of sais...not that many ppl would know about him today *coughravifromthebandkarmacough*:).

For me, the good old days were counted as when I actually had stuff like Nintendo Power to read up on...reading reviews and tips for games like SMB3, sitting down from 2am to play out SMB3 from stage 1 straight to killing Bowser without using a whistle...and playing Contra and Super C...and playing Castlevania III, Roadblasters, Sector Z, Dick Tracy...I dunno how I managed to see sunlight during those years.... :D

BLASPHEMY, HEATHEN, NINJA TURTLES 3 WAS THE S**T. THE SHEEET. Where the games fell was Turtles in Time. FAR too freaking easy.

And yeah, I take breaks every now and again. At least, to the point of not playing long enough to break my fingers.

And Batman.....actually existed for the NES? Whooooa.

NEO man, yuh dissapoint me, well not really. They had a few Batman games for the NES. BAtman from the movie, Batman Return of the Joker and Batman Returns. Ninja Turtles ONE for the NES was the most difficult. And Turtles 3, what CRAP is this i hearing? the only person i knew enjoyed that game at the time was my cousin who was about 10 years old, because at that age you too stupid to know what a good game is anyway. All you coulda do was chook and trow a man over your head and do a jumpkick..the special move made you loose power right? Cousin even found Xenophobe was good, doh tell mih yuh like that too.
you ever played FAXANADU..now THAT is a boss game. Shadowgate too hoss, and friggin UNINVITED....wohooo!!! the days of the point and click First Person Adventure
Turtles in Time was easy, finished it in an hour or so, but, but my bro and I must be play that game 100 times. But i feel you used to play that game on panty dificulty. Spike or whatever he name was at the end of the Prehistoric stage would whoop @ss on the hardest difficulty. jsut like Turtles 2 for the NES, an next mad game. We even found a way to just walk out of a stage and finish it, and start the next one....cant remember how anymore though. But to me talking about SNES is too "new" of a system. Just like i find Sonic to be a "new" character still.

Games i go STILL pickup and play for the NES at anytime
1. Super Mario 3 - Just for the mc Tanuki and Hammer bros suit
2. Contra
3. Super Contra
4. Bionic Commando

Talk to mih when you can play COntra and SUper C without dying.

They had some wannabees, SCAT...which was real @ss and then this Contra Force..which was crap too.

Friggin THUNDERBLADE for Sega boy. THAT was a mad game but only in the arcade, and some @ssified version come out for the Sega Master system, i eh know what the hell that was. They had it for Genesis i think, but it still wasnt as good.
Doh talk about Batman and Robin for SNES...i was shame to say i play that game. They tried to used digitize the real characters in the game, and it just come out like plain crap.

I think Gradius was pretty awesome, too. My very first 'plane shooter' game.

...by the way, does anybody remember 'Nemo in Dreamland'? That soundtrack was very haunting....

Tell me about being semi-addictive, throwing dem candy to the creatures around to get them to work for you, with the frogs and gorillas and bees etc.... and when u get the sceptre in the end to kill the final boss... a cheap way for some extra merchandise tie-in with the movie, but still enjoyable all the same.

Who here remembers playing Friday the 13th? That was one of the most FRUSTRATING NES games I ever played, I remember playing that game for about 5-6 hours, wandering around trying to find out how to kill Jason, but everytime his LP dropped to 1 bar, he runs away....

Anyone remember TIME LORD for the NES? We reached second or third stage or something in the West, and you cant kill the boss at the end of the stage. We actually spent 3 hours straight shooting this man with shotgun and he just not dying. The other day i went on a FAQ site.....apparently he has so much hits it would take you almost half a day to kill him......serious..just shooting and shooting.
