If its half as good as Indigo Prophecy then its a must buy for me.

Star Ocean, Heavy Rain, GOW 3 and FFX13 so close, my wallet taking a beating.

Is that even possible? U2 seemed to really push the PS3 to the limit.

Oh I've read it...and I'm more convinced AFTER reading it that I won't go anywhere NEAR this 'game'.

I thought we left QTEs back in Dreamcast days.  This 'game' is nothing more than a clever series of QTEs,
all wrapped up in slick graphical presentation, and a compelling story.  Them 'reviews' is a big mamaguy to
help sell you on the concept.  At least, that's my opinion.  'Wrong and strong' has nothing to do with it.

Intriguing?  Yes.

Great?  Debateable.  Take a gander at my theorem again.  This 'game' has nothing in there that comes CLOSE to satisfying it.

I'll be keeping my 60 dollars, thank you.

In Heavy Rain...game plays YOU.  :laughing7:

@ eroo do it off amazon you will get the 1st DLC as a pre order bonus :)

@ arcman
ur theorem flawed
sorry
not all games hav guns and explosions
GOW3, Demon souls, GT , Forza, Batman

redo the theorem then i wud take it seriously lol

PS: sad thing is if cod had dedicated servers it WOULD hav been ur "hoss" when in truth mp for that game is garbo and flawed terribly :)

Ah, but you misunderstand it, my friend.  The theorem holds true for games that I prefer to play.
It was never intended to ascribe to all games.  So therefore, games that do not satisfy it cannot be 'the new hoss'.

Nowhere does it say that games that do not 'conform' to it are bad.  It just means that I may not be interested enough in em.

Personally I think Heavy Rain is "ok". Its not really a "game" its more of an interactive movie per se. Its fun though! have to give it that and the story is what will make me buy this game. But I screw up the "quick button" combo system thingy ALL the time, so my ass go die all the time :(
I cyah wait to cut off that QQ man finger though! PLOI!

well as they said in the review, it's not possible to die in the game. the storyline plays out differently if some die or lives.

I'm one of those guys who values a great story over everything else. In movies, anime, etc. Never was big on story for videogames but this one has me thinking differently. Top notch title ppl.

fully agree. it's the type of game you play not because you enjoy it but because you just want to see how it ends.

I believe you can do either, though Skybox rates depending on the carrier may be lower I think.

disagree.
if u just wanna see how it ends it hav youtube for that
if someone buyin d game they enjoy it and not just buyin it to see how it ends
its not a game for every1.....especially d majority of trinis

I liked the demo... this is one I am definitely going to get myself

both i believe but it more convenient to do tru a skybox, at least for me anyway since i doh have to go clear it myself and get it delivered where ever and when i ever i want :)
