 video was only viewable at e3 apparently , but pics are available ,  lots of people accused sony of using pre rendered graphics to hype up the ps3 , if i was more idle i would find the articles... 
  note the big difference in graphics between this image and the pics posted,  no aliasing and you seeing  sweat, pores, and individual hairs ..

i think he just saying, rightly so, that sony lying ONCE AGAIN about their in game graphics by feeding rendered goodness to the masses before hand and claiming is in game, then when time to release, just disapointing the masses.

I much rather the simplicity of Tekken 6.

Street Fighter proved just how silly and confusing an "exotic" naming scheme can be.

Tell me the chronological order of these fine releases:

Street Fighter II : The World Warrior
Street Fighter II': Champion Edition
Street Fighter II' Turbo: Hyper Fighting
Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers
Super Street Fighter II Turbo

the street fighter naming convention is very non linear, but at the same time it achieves a non drawn out feel

namco is doing a fine job with the soul edge/calibur series.
They reinvented the series, enriching and building on the story line, so that the game could move from soul edge, to soul calibur!!!

I mean, is de same company so thereforeee namco could easily do the creative thing with tekken.

I'm not so big on the Tekken scene, but really, guys....some of you should base your critique of this game on more than just how it looks.

Remember how the sneak peek of Tekken 5 used to look in the E3 previews?
Almost like Tekken 4?
And then Namco decided to revamp the graphics engine, so that you have improved graphics that looks like an upgrade from the last game.

So, I wouldn't be surpried if they're using the same engine for Tekken 5 in the previews, and then use a totally new one for the actual game. Even then, though, the graphics don't look all that shabby, but I do agree on one thing- DoA4 looks better. For now, anyway.

As for the name....Tekken should stick with the numbering system because that's what fans identify the game by, but I'm not opposed to having an exotic title attached to it, as long as it's clever.

Oh, and for the record.....that girl is Lilli from T5: DR by the way. We've yet to see her here, however.

Well namco only made that name change once. Soul Edge, then Soul Calibur, Soul Calibur 2, Soul Calibur 3.

Similarly with Tekken, they gave us Tekken Tag Tournament (which came out smack between Tekken 3 and Tekken 4) That was a similar deviation from the old naming convention and an awesome game.

Also, Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. An arcade only release thus far.

So they not 100% linear with the Tekken names as you might think but surely not as off axis as the Street Fighter series.

well the soul edge series has more of a changing growing feel because of the changing growing storyline.

It was soul edge, soul edge version 2, soul blade, soul calibur, 1 ,2,3
I expect that the story is going to evolve yet again and a  new blade shall be born and the series will continue blessedly.

Interview(Tekken Producer Harada)

T6 trailer is just a test version and Namco is preparing now for Tekken 6.

T6 trailer was just made for practice and Namco made the movie in short time to show at E3(before deadline).

Producer is promising a spectacular visual and wants to use full PS3 power. Also he wants do something big with NETWORK abilities.
