More than likely it's the router itself causing that. A better quality wireless router, a wired router or even a switch may be better.

Is the $#!%%* SpeedStream router you have? I have that one too and it does the same mc thing...

I hate how I have to be babysitting my dsl connection. I know ppl who "forget" where the router is, cause they hardly ever interact with it since it was setup. Me, I always have to be resetting the bastard when I get "Max Echo something or the other error" or whenever I notice the connection connnected but I getting no traffic.

Someone told me to just carry it in and they'll switch to the newer model for you...

but I eh get time to do that as yet.

The newer routers that TSTT give out are way better than the older ones, but since you don't have a  TSTT supplied router, then u may need to look at the wireless router you're using. Do some research and read people's reviews on youe particular model to see if there are any known problems, firmware updates etc. TSTT's DSL service is very good IMHO.

TSTT's DSL service is very good IMHO.

True that they up to standard
but they have to work on service and support and organisin a thoro connection....

"THOES OF YOU WHO GETTING DSL PROBLEMS"....on another serious note....make sure ur phone lines and connectors/filters/handsets are in order.....meaning that they are new and not "old n 'buss up and exposed" cause that does cause some dred stactic which evidently cause constant loss of connection....Even if they very old and u not hearin any static, change it still!

I had this problem and i had to change over all wiring and everything smooth now...
